A third-party catalog lists an original MSRP of $415,960 for the 2024 Volante; that is not a current asking price or a completed-sale value.
Is the 2024 Aston Martin DBS a 770 Ultimate?
Yes. This guide concerns the 2024 model-year DBS 770 Ultimate, not a regular DBS with the same model-year label. Aston Martin announced the 770 Ultimate in January 2023 as the outgoing DBS generation’s final edition. Model year and announcement date are different: the 2024 designation does not mean the car was first announced in 2024.
Aston Martin’s March 2024 corporate memorandum said DBS production was ending and a replacement flagship was expected in the second half of 2024. That context is separate from the 770 Ultimate’s announcement and limited production.

The manufacturer states output in PS, a metric horsepower unit. It is not the same unit as bhp: Aston Martin’s separate corporate description of the DBS range gives 715 bhp, which should not be substituted for the 770 Ultimate’s 770 PS figure. US catalog sources report 759 hp for the model; that is a different unit presentation, not an additional factory rating.

Coupe or Volante: what is the difference?
The Coupe has a fixed roof; the Volante is the open-top body style. Aston Martin planned 300 Coupes and 199 Volantes, so the Coupe accounts for the larger share of the 499-car run. The figures do not establish a matched comparison of weight, acceleration, or original price between the body styles.
For a used-car comparison, assess the actual car rather than assuming one body style has a universal price advantage. Roof format and open-air use matter, but so do the individual specification and options, condition, mileage, service history, provenance, and the asking price on the date you are comparing cars.

Features and equipment
Brakes, wheels and tires
Aston Martin specifies carbon-ceramic brakes as standard, with 410 mm front discs and 360 mm rear discs. The edition has distinctive 21-inch wheels and Pirelli P Zero tires: 265/35 R21 at the front and 305/30 R21 at the rear.
Those size markings alone are not enough to select a replacement tire. Confirm the exact tire specification, load and speed ratings, wheel setup, and fitment for the particular car with an Aston Martin dealer or qualified tire specialist before ordering.

Interior and exterior details
The standard Sports Plus seats are trimmed in semi-aniline leather and Alcantara, with fluting and perforation. Carbon-fiber gearshift paddles and exterior carbon-fiber elements contribute to the edition-specific finish, alongside a distinct rear diffuser. Aston Martin’s brochure and announcement describe the 770 Ultimate’s dedicated design and equipment.
How much does a 2024 Aston Martin DBS cost?
CarGurus lists an original MSRP of $415,960 for a 2024 DBS 770 Ultimate Volante. This is third-party catalog data for a historical original MSRP, not a current asking price or a completed transaction value. CarGurus also displays a $387,600 MSRP figure on its trim page, but the available trim context does not establish a reliable Coupe-versus-Volante comparison.

Aston Martin said all 499 examples had sold ahead of release, so a buyer now is generally considering an individual secondary-market car rather than a fresh factory allocation. The figures above do not establish today’s market value. A current price depends on location, condition, mileage, service history, options, and provenance; use dated listings and, where available, completed-sale information for the relevant market rather than treating an original MSRP as a present-day valuation.
