TechBullion published a list of 20 HR platforms on May 8, 2025, but its article does not disclose media-mention counts, the outlets reviewed, or a method for ranking the vendors. Its sequence is therefore best read as an editorial list, not a verified ranking of the platforms most mentioned in the media. Read the original TechBullion article.
What the 2025 list does—and does not—establish
The TechBullion article presents 20 vendors in numbered order and gives a short description of each. It does not report a mention count for any vendor, identify a media database or set of outlets, specify a geographic scope, or explain a ranking formula. The order should not be interpreted as evidence of relative media visibility, product quality, market share, or buyer suitability.
The list is also not a like-for-like comparison: it includes broad HR and payroll suites alongside recruiting systems and candidate-assessment products. Its descriptions are the article’s characterizations, not independent product evaluations. Vendor features and positioning may have changed since the article’s May 2025 publication.
The 20 platforms, grouped by their described focus
The categories below clarify the different kinds of products represented. They are an editorial grouping of the article’s entries, not categories or rankings supplied by TechBullion.

How to compare HR platforms for a business decision
The list itself does not supply the information needed to choose a platform. Start with the work the software must do, then compare vendors against the same criteria rather than relying on their position in this article.
- Organization size and complexity: Match the product to the number of employees, locations, and administrative needs.
- Country and region: Check where the vendor supports your workforce and whether local payroll, benefits, and compliance needs are covered.
- Functional scope: Decide whether you need core HR records, payroll and benefits, workforce management, recruiting, assessments, or a combination.
- Integrations: Confirm that the platform connects to the accounting, identity, benefits, recruiting, and other systems your organization already uses.
- Implementation and administration: Compare setup requirements, data migration, ongoing support, and the staff time needed to manage the system.
- Total price: Request a comparable quote that accounts for the features, employee count, implementation, and recurring services you need.
Those checks matter because an assessment product and a full HR suite solve different problems; the numbered sequence offers no evidence that one is a substitute for the other.
