Skills to prepare—and what to verify
The roundup’s general preparation guidance mentions Python or another programming language, machine-learning concepts, mathematical foundations, project experience and communication. These are useful preparation areas, not universal eligibility requirements for every employer.

Before applying to a listing you find now, check the live employer posting for:
- Whether applications are still open and the actual deadline.
- The stipend amount, payment schedule and any incentive conditions.
- Duration, location, remote or on-site expectations, and working hours.
- Eligibility, required skills, selection steps and the work you would perform.
- Whether it is a paid internship involving project work or a training program with different terms.
Do not assume the old dates or terms remain valid; the 2025 roundup does not establish current openings.

MeitY Digital India Internship Scheme 2025
MeitY’s 2025 scheme listed “Security in Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence” as two of 29 total slots. The guidelines specified a two-to-three-month internship in New Delhi for Indian students in specified disciplines at recognized universities, with at least 60% marks and institutional sponsorship. A token stipend of ₹10,000 per month was conditional on satisfactory performance and was paid after the internship and acceptance of the report. Listings whose stipend is zero
An internship label does not guarantee pay. An AICTE National Internship Portal entry for Rinex Technologies lists a three-month machine-learning internship at ₹0/month. A separate ElectroCloud Labs data-science and machine-learning training internship is listed for six weeks at ₹0/month.
