These ten U.S. lease offers advertised monthly payments from $199 to $389, but every listed offer expired by January 5, 2026. They are historical examples, not deals available now. JD Power’s roundup was published December 17, 2025, based on research it said was accurate as of December 8 and a popular Los Angeles ZIP code; prices may have varied by location. Taxes, title, registration and dealer fees were excluded. See JD Power’s December 2025 offer list.

What the December 2025 lease offers included

The figures below are the advertised terms reported by JD Power, not independently verified manufacturer offers. “Due at signing” is separate from the monthly payment; the listed figures exclude tax, title, registration and dealer fees. Eligibility restrictions are included where reported.

Vehicle and configuration Advertised payment Term Due at signing Miles per year Eligibility and listed expiry
2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4WD LT, TurboMax $379/month 36 months $1,379 10,000 Current lessees of 2020-model-year-or-newer Chevrolet vehicles; Jan. 2, 2026
2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Select RWD, standard battery $308/month 36 months $308 10,500 Jan. 2, 2026
2026 Honda Civic LX Sedan $350/month 36 months $0 10,000 Jan. 5, 2026
2026 Honda Prologue AWD Touring $369/month 36 months $3,999 10,000 Qualifying current owners of 2011-model-year-or-newer vehicles from select brands in certain states; Jan. 5, 2026
2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6 SEL RWD $239/month 24 months $3,999 12,000 Jan. 2, 2026
2025 Kia Niro EV Wind $209/month 24 months $3,999 10,000 Jan. 2, 2026
2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4×4, V6 $389/month 42 months $3,869 10,000 Returning lessees; Jan. 5, 2026
2025 Subaru Crosstrek Premium $279/month 36 months $2,864 10,000 Jan. 2, 2026
2025 Toyota Tacoma SR5 $199/month 24 months $3,999 12,000 Jan. 5, 2026
2025 Volkswagen Jetta SE $359/month 36 months $0 10,000 Jan. 5, 2026

Which advertised payment was lowest?

The Toyota Tacoma SR5 had the lowest advertised payment in this list at $199 per month. The Ram 1500 Big Horn had the highest at $389 per month. That comparison is only about the monthly figure: the Tacoma required $3,999 due at signing and was a 24-month offer, while the Ram required $3,869 and ran for 42 months. Their vehicle classes, terms and eligibility also differ.

How to compare a lease beyond its monthly price

Account for the upfront amount and term

Multiply the payment by the lease term, then add the advertised amount due at signing to see a basic advertised-payment total. For example, the Tacoma’s listed payment totals $4,776 over 24 months; adding its $3,999 due at signing gives $8,775 before taxes and excluded fees. This arithmetic does not establish the full lease cost: it omits charges not included in the offer and does not account for the timing or composition of the upfront amount. Ask the dealer for a written, itemized quote.

Match the mileage allowance to your driving

These offers allowed 10,000 to 12,000 miles per year, except the Mach-E at 10,500. If you exceed the contracted allowance, excess-mileage charges may apply; excess wear can also lead to charges. Ask for the mileage rate and wear standards in writing before signing, and compare the cost of a higher-mileage contract if you expect to drive more.

Check eligibility, location and exact vehicle

The Silverado offer required a current Chevrolet lessee, the Ram offer was for returning lessees, and the Prologue offer was limited to qualifying owners of certain makes in certain states. The source based its figures on a Los Angeles-area ZIP code, so availability and terms elsewhere could differ. Confirm the precise trim, drivetrain, term, mileage, eligibility rules and expiration with the automaker or local dealer rather than assuming a similar vehicle qualifies.

Understand the trade-off at lease end

Leasing can mean a lower monthly payment than traditional financing, as JD Power notes, but it does not give the lessee ownership at the end of the term. Mileage and condition requirements also constrain how the car is used. Compare those trade-offs with your plans for the vehicle, not just the advertised payment.

Are any of these offers still available?

No listed offer was current beyond its stated January 2 or January 5, 2026 expiration date. Anyone shopping now needs a current quote for their ZIP code and the exact vehicle; do not treat these December 2025 prices as live promotions. Request the complete amount due at signing, monthly payment, taxes and fees, mileage allowance, lease-end charges and eligibility terms in writing.
