The least expensive new Harley-Davidson in the U.S. 2026 lineup is the Nightster, with a manufacturer-listed starting MSRP of $9,999+. The ten models below are ranked by starting MSRP, not by total ownership cost or dealer price; taxes, freight, title and registration, dealer charges, and optional equipment can raise the final amount.

What the lowest prices tell you—and what they do not
The Nightster starts $2,500 below the Nightster Special and $5,000 below the Street Bob, based on the listed starting MSRPs. Those are simple differences between manufacturer starting prices, not promised savings, negotiated-price gaps, or proof that one model is a better value. The list spans Sport, Cruiser, and Adventure Touring categories, so the lowest sticker price may not suit the kind of riding or fit you need.

Harley-Davidson lists the Nightster at 481 lb in running order, a 27.1-inch laden seat height, 91 hp, and 52 mpg. The manufacturer lists the Street Bob with a Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine, 98 hp, 120 ft-lb of torque, a 25.8-inch laden seat height, and 47 mpg. These are published specifications, not independent test results; listed fuel economy is not a guarantee of what a rider will achieve. See the 2026 Nightster model page and 2026 Street Bob specifications for those details.
Comparable specifications for every model in the price list are not established here, so avoid treating the two examples as a full technical comparison. Check each model’s current equipment and fit information before deciding.

How to compare affordability before buying
A starting MSRP is a useful first filter, not a monthly budget or the full cost to own. Compare the models against your needs, then ask a dealer for the final numbers in writing.
- Riding category and use: Decide whether a Sport, Cruiser, or Adventure Touring motorcycle fits your typical routes and riding plans.
- Fit and ergonomics: Check seat height, weight, riding position, and how the controls feel to you. Confirm comparable specifications on the individual model pages rather than inferring them from the category.
- Passenger and cargo needs: Review the equipment and carrying capacity you need, including whether accessories would add to the price.
- Equipment and safety features: Compare what is included on the specific model and trim, not just the family name or starting price.
- Ongoing expenses: Get insurance estimates and ask about expected service costs for the model and your location. The starting-MSRP list does not establish comparative insurance, maintenance, or reliability costs.
- Final purchase price: Request an itemized out-the-door quote that accounts for applicable taxes, freight or destination, title and registration, dealer charges, and selected options. Check local inventory and compare dealer quotes.
How much does a new Harley-Davidson cost?
In the U.S. 2026 lineup, the ten lowest listed starting MSRPs run from $9,999+ for the Nightster to $19,999+ for the Heritage Classic and two Pan America models. These are manufacturer starting prices; your local dealer’s written out-the-door quote is the relevant figure for budgeting.
