Zenity announced a $38 million Series B on October 29, 2024, co-led by Third Point Ventures and DTCP. The company said the round lifted its total funding to more than $55 million and would finance product and team expansion, including a partner program. It was a historical milestone, not Zenity’s latest financing: the company announced a $125 million Series C in August 2026.

What Zenity’s $38 million round funded

In its October 29, 2024 announcement, Zenity said it planned to use the proceeds to expand its product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams and launch a partner program. The stated goal was to support enterprise adoption of agentic workflows, enterprise copilots, and low-code applications. That announcement describes intended uses; it does not establish how the money was ultimately spent.

Who invested, and how the round fits the funding timeline

Third Point Ventures and DTCP co-led the Series B. Zenity said the financing brought its total capital raised to more than $55 million. In August 2026, Zenity announced a later $125 million Series C led by Norwest, with new investors Qumra Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures, and LG Technology Ventures. The company also listed returning investors Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, DTCP, and Intel Capital.

Financing Timing Lead investors What Zenity reported
Series B October 29, 2024 Third Point Ventures and DTCP $38 million raised; total capital exceeded $55 million, according to Zenity’s announcement.
Series C August 2026 Norwest $125 million raised; new and returning investors were named in Zenity’s announcement.

What Zenity does

Zenity says it launched in 2021 to provide security and governance for low-code/no-code development, then expanded into enterprise AI copilots, including Microsoft 365 Copilot. Its current description is an AI agent security and governance platform spanning SaaS, cloud, and endpoint environments. Zenity says its platform offers discovery, posture management, monitoring, and runtime policy enforcement. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independent product evaluation findings.

The company’s core argument is that an agent’s permissions alone do not show whether a specific action is appropriate for its task. Zenity advocates evaluating agent context and intent alongside identity, prompt inspection, and post-incident analysis. In its 2026 announcement, Zenity says its product can allow, modify, or block an action before it runs. That describes the company’s product thesis and should not be treated as independently verified comparative performance.

What the funding news establishes—and what it does not

The 2024 release establishes Zenity’s announced financing terms and planned areas of investment. It does not show the round’s eventual spending, prove that the product prevents security incidents, or verify business performance. In its 2026 release, Zenity reported more than 230 employees worldwide and said revenue had tripled in each of the previous two years; those are company-reported figures, not independently audited results in the cited material.

For enterprise buyers assessing agent-security platforms, useful evaluation points include which agent environments are supported, what discovery and monitoring are available, how behavior context informs governance, whether policies can stop actions at runtime, what deployment requires, and what customer evidence can be independently checked. The cited announcements do not provide a direct competitor comparison, so they do not support ranking Zenity against alternatives.

Public-sector distribution

In June 2026, Zenity announced a distribution partnership with Carahsoft. Zenity said Carahsoft would make the platform available to public-sector buyers through reseller partners and named procurement vehicles. This is a procurement channel; the announcement does not establish an affiliate or referral commission.
