What Amazon’s Ford listings include
The offer is for Ford Blue Advantage CPO vehicles listed by participating Ford dealers—not every pre-owned Ford, and not a car sold directly by Amazon. Amazon’s November 17, 2025 announcement initially named Los Angeles, Seattle, and Dallas. Its later Amazon Autos buying guide describes a broader service; current availability still depends on local inventory. The guide says listings are drawn from dealers within 75 miles of a shopper’s ZIP code and that Amazon Autos works with over 1,000 participating dealers in more than 130 U.S. cities. Those are figures published by Amazon, not independently verified counts.
Amazon describes listings with itemized pricing, vehicle history, specifications, service history, and condition reports. Its general guide says used and CPO listings have vehicle history reports available. Check the individual car’s listing and ask the dealer for any documentation you need; the exact records available can vary by vehicle.
Understand the Ford Blue Advantage tier before comparing cars
Amazon’s announcement describes three Ford Blue Advantage certification tiers. The inspection and warranty terms differ, so do not assume that an Amazon listing carries a particular tier. Confirm the car’s certification and applicable terms on the listing and in the written purchase documents.

Amazon’s announcement says each tier includes roadside assistance and that Ford Blue Advantage CPO vehicles carry a 14-day or 1,000-mile money-back guarantee. These program terms are published by Amazon; verify the individual vehicle’s tier, coverage, exclusions, and return conditions in its listing and contract. Amazon’s general used/CPO protections are separate: its current buying guide states a minimum 3-day/300-mile return policy, subject to variation in certain states, and a minimum 30-day/1,000-mile limited warranty. Check the purchase documents to establish which protections apply to your transaction and how they interact.

- Evaluate the car and price. Check the model year, mileage, condition, vehicle-history and service information, certification tier, pickup location, and itemized price. Amazon says dealers set prices and display them upfront.
- Choose how to pay. The guide describes financing, leasing, or paying in full. You can enter a trade-in for an estimated value if you want one and compare personalized financing offers.
- Compare the full financing cost. Review APR, loan term, monthly payment, and total interest—not just the monthly payment. Confirm taxes, fees, lender terms, and any optional products for the specific transaction.
- Place a deposit and complete paperwork online. Much of the paperwork can be completed through Amazon Autos. The dealer may require remaining physical signatures at pickup.
- Arrange pickup and inspect the vehicle. Amazon says customers typically pick up within three days of ordering, though timing varies. The dealer handles the handoff and offers test drives.
Who sells the car—and what “buy on Amazon” means
Amazon hosts the online shopping and purchase experience and connects shoppers with participating dealers. The dealer remains the seller, sets the vehicle’s price, and handles pickup, service, and the customer relationship. You can do much of the transaction online, but this is not parcel-style delivery from Amazon: expect to collect the car at the dealership and complete any remaining in-person steps there.
Ford’s Robert Kaffl, executive director of U.S. Sales and Dealer Relations, described the arrangement this way: “Amazon Autos allows Ford Dealers to offer their certified pre-owned vehicles through Amazon’s accessible digital platform, while maintaining the benefits that customers enjoy from their relationships of our Ford Dealers.”
