Yohana announced nationwide U.S. availability for its family concierge membership on October 26, 2022, after launching in Seattle in 2021 and expanding to Los Angeles in 2022. The service combined human help with digital task management; it is no longer available. Panasonic says the membership ended January 30, 2026, and access to Yohana’s website and app also ended.
How Yohana expanded beyond Seattle
Yohana launched in Seattle in 2021, then expanded to Los Angeles in 2022. On October 26, 2022, the company announced nationwide U.S. availability, positioning the service as a way to help families manage household and family responsibilities. Yohana’s 2021 launch announcement and its 2022 expansion announcement describe that rollout.
What the family concierge service offered
Yohana was more than a self-service planning app. Members were paired with a Guide and Specialists, with tasks managed through the Yohana app and website and support from a hand-picked network of outside providers. The company described help with finding gift ideas and recipes, arranging reservations, locating activities for children, and sourcing providers for home projects. These were examples of the service’s announced scope, not a guarantee that every request would be completed. Yohana’s announcement and GeekWire’s 2022 coverage characterized it as a personal assistant or household concierge service.
What Yohana charged at launch
GeekWire reported a $249 monthly membership price in October 2022 and a limited $149 monthly offer through the end of that year. Those are historical terms from the U.S. launch period, not current prices or available offers. GeekWire’s launch coverage reported the pricing.

What the reported results do—and do not—show
In its October 2022 expansion release, Yohana said it had handled more than 50,000 to-dos and that some families saved up to 8–10 hours per week. These were company-reported figures: the weekly number was a maximum for some families, not an average or independently verified result. The company’s release does not establish a typical time saving for U.S. members.
In a separate 2024 announcement about Japan, Panasonic said Yohana had cumulatively supported more than 10,000 families in Japan and the U.S. Yohana also reported results from a company-run Japanese internet survey of 54 users who had used the service for at least 30 days. Conducted January 4–13, 2024, the survey found that respondents saved about 13 hours per month on average; 85% named time savings as a reason for joining, 63% wanted to clear their to-do lists, and 33% wanted to organize their homes and manage chores better. Of those surveyed, 67% said they used saved time to spend quality time with family. The small survey covered qualifying Japanese users, so it does not establish average results for U.S. members. Yohana is no longer available
Panasonic’s notice says the Yohana Membership ended January 30, 2026, and that the website and app also ceased to be accessible. The service’s nationwide expansion is therefore a historical launch story, not an opportunity to sign up today. Panasonic’s termination notice states the end date.
In February 2026 investor meeting minutes, Panasonic said it had reassessed U.S. consumer services Yohana and Umi amid competitive changes and would carry learnings into its Smart Life business. The minutes offer corporate context, but do not by themselves establish the full reason for ending Yohana’s membership. Panasonic Holdings’ investor Q&A minutes contain that discussion.
