YETI launched its Yonder Shaker Bottle in the fourth quarter of 2025, in 20 oz and 27 oz sizes. On YETI’s US product page, checked on 8 October 2026, the 20 oz bottle lists at $22, and the 27 oz bottle displayed a reduction from $25 to $20. Those prices are a snapshot, not a permanent rate. For a budget-minded buyer, the real question is whether the bottle’s mixing design is worth paying for compared with the shaker you already own, and that depends on how often you actually mix drinks.
What launched, and when
YETI’s 2025 annual report lists the Yonder Shaker Bottle among its fourth-quarter 2025 product launches and says it came in two sizes. T3 covered the release on 29 November 2025, describing it as a quiet launch and drawing attention to its price positioning. The company report is the better source for the launch quarter; the T3 piece is useful for how the product was framed at the time.
Price and sizes
The two sizes are priced differently on YETI’s US page, and the 27 oz figure is a temporary display price rather than a standing list price. Regional pricing and promotions can differ, so confirm the figure at checkout.

The per-ounce figures are simple arithmetic on the displayed prices and capacities. They show why the larger bottle is the better value per ounce when it is on promotion, but they do not account for how much of each bottle you will actually use per shake, which is covered below.

How the mixing works, and the fill level that matters
YETI says the bottle’s patented wall geometry, which it calls Helimix, creates mixing action as you shake. There is no whisk, screen, or wire ball to buy, lose, or clean. The company’s product FAQ gives specific fill guidance for smooth results:
- Pour the liquid in first.
- Add powder after the liquid.
- Fill the 20 oz bottle to about 12 oz, or the 27 oz bottle to about 20 oz.
- Close the cap and shake.
That means the usable capacity for a mixed drink is noticeably smaller than the printed size. A 20 oz bottle used at YETI’s suggested fill makes roughly 12 oz of mixed drink per batch. This is YETI’s guidance, not the result of independent testing, so treat it as the manufacturer’s recommended method.

Features and limits
- Spout and cap: a covered chug spout and a quick-access cap.
- Measurement: printed measurement marks on the bottle.
- Leak claims: YETI describes the construction as leakproof.
- Cleaning: YETI lists the bottle as dishwasher-safe. Without a wire ball or whisk, there is no separate mixing part to clean.
- Materials: BPA-free; the vessel is made with 75% recycled plastic. That figure excludes the shaker cap.
- Insulation: none. YETI’s FAQ says the bottle is about lightweight portability and clean mixing, not keeping drinks hot or cold.
- Compatibility: the shaker cap does not fit other Yonder water bottles or Rambler products.
- Weight and size: the 20 oz bottle is listed at 0.36 lb and measures 4.2 in wide by 7.0 in high on YETI’s US page.
The compatibility limit matters if you already own a YETI Yonder or Rambler bottle and expect to swap lids. It does not work that way.
Is the price a real saving?
The “more affordable than anyone expected” framing comes from launch-era coverage and from the promotional display price, not from a comparison with competitor shakers. No independent price survey of comparable shakers was found in the sources reviewed, so the claim should be read as a statement about YETI’s own pricing rather than a market-wide verdict.

A practical way to judge it is to work out your cost per shake:
- Count how many mixed drinks you make per week, and multiply by the fill you actually use (about 12 oz for the 20 oz bottle at YETI’s suggested level).
- Compare that with the price of the shaker you already use, including any replacement parts, such as a wire ball or whisk, that you buy over time.
- If you rarely shake a drink, the purchase is hard to justify on cost alone. If you mix daily, the no-replacement-parts design is the main argument for the price.
Company context
YETI’s 2025 annual report says it acquired certain Helimix-related assets, including designs, tooling, and intellectual property, for $38.0 million in cash during the third quarter of 2025. The company says the fourth-quarter shaker launch was made possible in part by that acquisition and that it supports expansion into sport, health, and wellness.

On YETI’s third-quarter 2025 earnings call, CEO Matthew Reintjes described the bottle as having “a patented design that improves upon the standard shaker, providing an incredible mix experience while removing the traditional wire ball.” He also said the product would be manufactured in the United States and cited a target market of roughly $2.5 billion. These are management statements about the company’s own product and market opportunity, not independent testing or third-party market research. The same call referenced more than 39,000 4.5-star Amazon reviews for Helimix products; that is a historical, management-cited figure and not a current review count for the Yonder bottle.

The Bottom Line
The Yonder Shaker Bottle is a lightweight, non-insulated shaker whose selling point is a whisk-free mixing design. At the US prices YETI displayed on 8 October 2026, it is reasonably priced for a daily shaker user, and the 27 oz promotion is the better value per ounce while it lasts. If you mix drinks only occasionally, or you need insulation or lid compatibility with existing YETI bottles, the purchase is harder to justify.
