Wrestling Collectibles That Have Sold for a Fortune—and 10 Kitsch Fan Favorites

A few scarce cards and event-used items have reported five-figure sales, but most collections are not comparable. See the records, valuation factors, buying checks, and 10 playful fan-kitsch picks.

Some wrestling collectibles have sold for five figures, but age alone does not make an old card or figure valuable. The strongest documented examples are scarce cards in exceptional condition and event-used memorabilia with a traceable connection to a wrestler or venue. The “embarrassing” half is fan humor, not a measure of market value: there is no objective embarrassment scale, and a novelty item can be fun without being valuable—or shameful.

Wrestling collectibles with documented high sale reports

The prices below are reported by the ProWrestling-Collectibles auction archives, which compile auction records. They are notable results, not estimates of what a typical collection would sell for. The archive does not consistently clarify whether every quoted figure includes a buyer’s premium, so treat each as a reported sale figure rather than a directly comparable net amount.

Collectible Reported result Why it stands out
1982 Wrestling All-Stars Series A Hulk Hogan rookie card, PSA Mint 9 $85,400, reported for Heritage Auctions on October 26, 2025 The archive describes the grade as having no superior example at the time. That population claim and the sale details should be checked against Heritage’s own record.
2025 Topps Chrome WWE dual-autograph SuperFractor 1/1 featuring The Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin $82,825, reported for Goldin on July 11, 2026 A one-of-one card combining two major names and dual autographs.
2025 Topps Royalty WrestleMania 41 Randy Orton match-used patch autograph 1/1 card $42,100, reported for an eBay sale on May 11, 2026 The card is described as one of one and includes a match-used patch and autograph.
Signed mid-1990s ECW 2300 Arena outdoor sign $20,740, reported for a Heritage Auctions sale on May 17, 2026 The auction archive describes the sign as event-used and cites a PSA/DNA letter of authenticity in its provenance.

These records are listed in the ProWrestling-Collectibles Top 100 Wrestling Auctions archive and its Top 50 Wrestling Event-Used Auctions archive. The archive is a secondary compilation, so confirm a record with the auction house or sold listing before relying on it. None of these results promises a future resale price.

What separates a high-value piece from an old collectible?

A collectible’s age is only one detail. The records above illustrate several factors that can make an item unusually desirable; they are context for evaluating a piece, not a formula for calculating its price.

#1 Best Overall
Mattel WWE Main Event Showdown, Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa
  • Celebrate WWE rivalries and tag teams with WWE Main Event Showdown 2-Pack action figures!
  • The collectible sets come with an accessory, like a WWE Championship title or other accessory!
  • Each 6-inch figure features 1 points of articulation for signature moves and poses!
  • The Superstars are detailed with ring gear and TrueFX facial technology to bring the figures alive!
  • Fans can collect the sets to build bigger battles and displays (Each sold separately, subject to availability).
  • Scarcity: A documented one-of-one card is different from a mass-produced release. Limited supply matters most when collectors also want the item.
  • Condition and grade: The Hogan result concerns a professionally graded Mint 9 card. A card with the same player and year but a different condition is not automatically comparable.
  • Authenticity and provenance: A credible record connecting an item to a wrestler or event can matter. For event-used objects, documentation such as an authentication letter is part of the provenance to assess.
  • Specific connection: A named wrestler, signature, match-used component, or known venue can give an item a more direct story than generic merchandise.
  • Completed sales: A sold result offers stronger pricing evidence than an unsold asking price. Compare like with like—edition, grade, authentication, and sale context.

One mixed lot is a useful reality check

Oakwood Auctions reports that a mixed lot of 1998 WCW/nWo cards and signed wrestling magazines sold for $130 on April 4, 2026. Its description says the cards were stored in archival nine-pocket binder pages. This is one mixed-lot result, not a price guide for WCW cards, signed magazines, or collections generally. It does show why a headline-making card record should not be mistaken for the likely value of ordinary wrestling collectibles. See Oakwood’s lot description.

10 wrestling collectibles that might make fans cringe—in a fond way

“Embarrassing” is personal taste, not a market category. The following are playful examples of the kinds of wrestling keepsakes a fan might find delightfully over-the-top; they are not documented auction lots, and no sale prices or claims about their value are implied.

Mattel WWE Penta Action Figure, Main Event Series #163
  • WWE action figures bring fan-favorite Superstars to life in 6-inch scale!
  • Each figure is detailed with TrueFX technology for a life-like face and added collectability!
  • Fans can recreate signature moves with 14 points of articulation for dynamic posing!
  • Reenact favorite WWE Main Event matches or create new rivalries and moves for play and display!
  • WWE fans can find their favorite Superstar figure or can collect them all (each sold separately, subject to availability).
  1. A wrestler’s novelty foam finger: More arena prop than display-case centerpiece.
  2. A loudly branded snack container: The sort of tie-in that makes the merch table feel like its own main event.
  3. A wrestler-themed lunchbox: A nostalgic choice that might prompt questions at the office.
  4. A plastic championship belt from a toy line: Perfect for dramatic living-room entrances; less convincing as formal attire.
  5. A novelty talking figure: A catchphrase on demand can be amusing until it gets repeated for the tenth time.
  6. A wrestler-printed sleepwear set: A commitment to the gimmick that extends well beyond match night.
  7. A brightly colored promotional cup: Useful at home, even if its graphic makes it a conversation starter.
  8. A gag gift built around a signature move: Funny among fans who know the reference, baffling to everyone else.
  9. A wrestler-themed wall calendar: A cheerful bit of fandom that is only seasonally useful.
  10. A novelty accessory with a wrestler’s catchphrase: The joke may be the point; whether it belongs in public is a personal call.

These examples are deliberately subjective. A collector may love an item precisely because it is silly, personal, or tied to a favorite era. A low price—or the absence of a price record—does not prove that an item is embarrassing.

How to check authenticity before buying

Online listings can include counterfeit or unauthorized goods. WWE’s rights-owner guidance hosted by eBay says WWE reviews eBay listings and warns about counterfeit or infringing goods, including unauthorized reproduction or sale of WWE content and marks. A seller’s confident description is not a substitute for evidence.

Mattel WWE Money in The Bank Cash-in Ring Playset
  • Recreate unpredictable finishes and thrilling ladder matches with the WWE Money In The Bank Cash-In Ring playset!
  • The action-packed ring stands more than 20-inches tall and features 2 ways to play!
  • Choose Kick-Out Mode when it's time to go for the pin or set to Money In The Bank Mode to send Superstar figures (sold separately) flying toward the suspended briefcase or out of the ring.
  • An astonishing 40+ sounds and phrases punch up the excitement even more -- just like in a real Money In The Bank ladder match!
  • Amp up the action with iconic WWE accessories like a breakaway scaffold crane, ladders and WWE Money In The Bank briefcase!
  1. Ask for provenance. For event-used gear, seek a clear account of how the item was obtained and any documentation connecting it to the claimed wrestler or event.
  2. Compare identifying details. Check signatures, markings, edition details, and item features against credible records or photographs where available.
  3. Evaluate authentication documents. Check who issued the document and what exactly it authenticates. A certificate is evidence to assess, not a guarantee that every claim about an item is true.
  4. Use sold comparables carefully. Compare actual completed sales for similar items, grades, and provenance rather than treating asking prices or a headline record as a dependable valuation.

WWE’s guidance is available in its eBay rights-owner information. For cards, preserving them in suitable archival pages can help protect their condition; the Oakwood lot description notes that its cards were stored in archival nine-pocket pages. Storage can help protect an item, but it does not by itself establish authenticity or increase market value.
