Does 49ers Enterprises own Leeds United?
Yes. Leeds United’s official announcement said the EFL had approved the sale to 49ers Enterprises and described the group as the club’s full owner. The club’s corporate information says Leeds United is 100% owned by 49ers Enterprises Global Football Group LLC. What does the previous Championship period show?
Leeds’ 2023/24 audited consolidated financial statements say 49ers Enterprises assumed full control after the club’s relegation at the end of the 2022/23 season, with Paraag Marathe becoming chairman. That is relevant ownership history, but it does not establish a commitment to fund a particular future transfer budget or guarantee spending if Leeds are in the Championship.
