If money has appeared in your SadaPay account, it may be a local transfer, an international remittance, or a merchant refund. The notification alone does not identify the source. Check the transaction details in the SadaPay app; if you still cannot identify the credit, contact SadaPay through in-app support before taking action.
Common reasons money arrives in SadaPay

How to check which transaction it is
- Open the SadaPay app and inspect the transaction. Review the available transaction details and sender information. The information shown may not establish the sender’s identity in every case, so do not assume an unfamiliar label proves who sent the money.
- Compare it with expected payments. Consider whether someone sent you a local payment, you were expecting an international remittance, or a merchant was processing a refund.
- Find your receiving details if you need to verify them. In the app, tap Load Money. SadaPay says the local section shows your account number and the international section shows your IBAN. SadaPay Help Center, May 31, 2024
- Ask SadaPay if the credit remains unclear. Use the app’s official in-app support channel and ask them to identify the incoming transaction. The help pages cited here do not specify a separate procedure for an already-credited deposit you cannot identify.
If the money was expected but has not arrived
This is different from an unexplained credit. For a missing transfer, SadaPay asks customers to contact in-app chat and provide the amount, date and time, and the sender’s bank and account name. The Help Center says SadaPay’s side takes one working day and recommends that the sender also raise the issue with their bank. This timing is SadaPay’s stated process, not a guarantee about how quickly another bank will respond. SadaPay Help Center, November 19, 2025
International remittance timing and conversion
SadaPay’s August 14, 2025 help article says international remittances are usually instant, but may take up to 1–2 working days depending on where the transfer comes from. It says the received funds are converted to PKR; the chosen platform sets the conversion rate applied on the day the transfer settles. SadaPay says it does not charge a fee for this service, but that does not establish that the sending provider charges no fee or offers a particular exchange rate. Confirm current provider availability and costs with the provider or SadaPay.
If you see an unrecognized deduction
An unknown incoming credit is not the same as money being taken from your account. If you also see a deduction you do not recognize, SadaPay’s guidance for suspected fraudulent transactions is to freeze your physical and virtual cards in the app and contact in-app support so its Fraud team can investigate.
