Customers who saved T-Mobile’s March 2025 Wingstop offer could still encounter a sold-out message when they tried to redeem it. T-Mobile later said demand flooded Wingstop locations nationwide, and that the deal returned a few weeks after the initial promotion.
What was the T-Mobile Wingstop offer?
In March 2025, T-Mobile Tuesdays offered members a three-piece Wingstop crispy tender combo for $0.01. T-Mobile’s June 2, 2026 retrospective says customers crowded locations across the country and that the promotion returned a few weeks later.

The one-cent price was the promotion price, not Wingstop’s regular menu price. In a February 24, 2025 release, Wingstop listed its standard three-piece crispy tender combo at $9.99, including seasoned fries, a drink and ranch. That menu description does not establish every term or eligibility rule for the T-Mobile offer.
Why could an offer say “sold out” after it was saved?
Contemporaneous coverage reported that the offer appeared as sold out in T-Life and that some customers who had saved it could no longer redeem it. Other customers reportedly reached Wingstop’s website with a promotional code but received a sold-out error. The Mobile Report covered the issue on March 25, 2025, and Android Authority reported similar problems the next day.

Those accounts document reported failures, not a verified count of affected customers or a complete record of redemptions. The sources do not establish the original offer’s full terms, such as every eligibility condition, expiration rule or redemption limit. Saving an offer therefore cannot be described as a guarantee of a completed redemption based on the available terms.
What did T-Mobile say about the failed redemptions?
The Mobile Report reproduced a response attributed to T-Mobile, without naming an individual spokesperson:

We’re committed to providing our customers the best possible experience and we apologize for the inconvenience.”
The company attributed the problem to stores selling out, apologized, and said it was committed to a better customer experience. T-Mobile’s later retrospective says the deal returned a few weeks after the initial promotion; it does not establish a broader remedy for every customer who could not redeem the first offer.

What is known—and not known—about the impact?
- Documented: News reports described sold-out messages and customers unable to use saved offers or codes.
- Not established: The number of customers affected, the share of attempted redemptions that failed, and whether all failures had the same cause.
- Individual accounts: Customer posts provide examples of experiences, but they are anecdotes rather than a representative survey.
The incident supports a narrow conclusion: reported demand and sellouts disrupted some customers’ attempts to use the promotion. It does not, on its own, establish a broader trend in customer trust.
