In June 2024, Shannen Doherty asked a Los Angeles court for $15,434 a month in spousal support, retroactive to June 1, plus $9,100 toward attorney fees and costs. Her filing said she was struggling with medical expenses not covered by insurance and expected to lose eligibility for SAG health insurance. Those were claims in a divorce filing, not financial or medical findings made by a judge.
What support did Doherty request?
Entertainment Tonight reported that Doherty filed her request on June 14, 2024. She sought $15,434 per month in spousal support, retroactive to June 1, and $9,100 toward attorney fees and costs. The figures describe what she asked the court to award; they do not establish that the court granted the request.

Entertainment Tonight’s June 20, 2024 report said the filing listed average annual earnings during the last three years of the marriage as $672,916 for Kurt Iswarienko and $259,708 for Doherty. Those were figures Doherty gave in her filing, not independently established income findings.
What did she say about her expenses and insurance?
According to the same report, Doherty’s filing put her monthly expenses at more than $54,600 and her 2023 medical expenses at $21,640. She said she could not work and was paying for experimental treatments that insurance did not cover. She also said she expected to lose eligibility for SAG health insurance because she had not worked that year. These amounts and circumstances were described in her filing and were not independently audited in the reporting.

Doherty also alleged that Iswarienko was spending on travel and other personal expenses while claiming he lacked funds to support her. The allegation was part of her court filing; it should not be read as a court’s conclusion about his spending or finances.
Why did she cite future income from Charmed?
Doherty’s filing reportedly said her future residual income would fall after Charmed left major streaming platforms following June 30, 2024. That was her forecast at the time of the request, not a verified later measurement of how her income changed.

What happened after the June request?
Reports in July 2024 said the couple signed papers for an uncontested dissolution on consecutive days: Doherty signed on July 12 and Iswarienko on July 13. The papers described a written agreement addressing property and support and asked to terminate support requests. Entertainment Tonight reported on the agreement, and CBS News reported on the dissolution filing. The available reports do not establish that the June request resulted in an award of the monthly amount she sought.
What later reporting says about the agreement
In reports dated December 1, 2025, and January 19, 2026, El País described a dispute involving Doherty’s estate and Iswarienko. The estate reportedly accused him of failing to meet some obligations under the agreement; his side challenged the agreement’s enforceability and the court’s jurisdiction. These are reported allegations and legal arguments, not a final ruling established by the latest reviewed report.

Context: Doherty’s cancer and divorce timeline
Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, CBS News reported. Her cancer later returned and was described as stage 4; reporting has placed the return in 2019 or 2020. She and Iswarienko separated in January 2023, and she filed for divorce in April 2023. Her June 2024 support request came amid those proceedings.
The accounts of the filing reviewed here rely on reporting that cites court documents. They provide a record of what Doherty and, later, her estate or Iswarienko’s side reportedly argued—not a substitute for a court’s findings on disputed expenses, income, or agreement obligations.
