The company alleged that Nabors took thousands of confidential files containing sensitive company and business information. The number and alleged conduct have not been established as facts by the sources cited here.
What did the complaint allege about cameras and a mini-PC?

What happened in the case, and was it settled?
- April 8, 2025: Law360 reported the lawsuit and the company’s allegations about confidential documents and hidden cameras.
- April 30, 2025: The California Lawyers Association published a fuller summary, including the allegations about a mini-PC and remote-access software.
- February 11, 2026: Bloomberg Law reported that the parties had notified the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina of an agreement in principle to settle. The report said details were not immediately available and noted that the company had overcome Nabors’s bid to dismiss the lawsuit in August.
An agreement in principle is not the same as confirmation that a settlement was finalized or that the court dismissed the case. The cited status report does not establish whether a later court filing completed either step. Trellis lists the case as MrBeastYouTube, LLC v. Nabors and indexes federal filings, but it is a docket aggregator rather than the court’s own docket: Trellis case listing.
