The wording alone does not identify which Roblox account or person made the purchase—or whether the transaction is a purchase rather than a pending verification. Check the transaction status and relevant purchase records first; if you still do not recognize it, contact the provider through its official support channel.
What “Xsolla*Roblox” means on a statement
The descriptor identifies a payment route associated with Roblox, not the cause of an individual charge. Roblox distinguishes between a statement entry labeled “Xsolla*Roblox” and one labeled “Roblox”: for the Xsolla-prefixed entry, Roblox directs customers to Xsolla support; for a Roblox-only entry, it directs them to Roblox Support. The exact wording matters when choosing where to ask for help.
Check the transaction before reporting it
- Confirm the full descriptor and status. Note whether the charge is pending or posted, and record its date and amount. If the bank’s display is unclear, ask the card issuer or payment provider to confirm the transaction status.
- Ask who can use the payment account. Xsolla recommends checking with family members or friends who have access to the account. An authorized user may have made the purchase even if you did not recognize it at first.
- Review Roblox activity. Compare the charge with Roblox purchase history and check whether there is an active game-related subscription. These are possibilities to investigate, not proof of what caused the charge.
- Consider a pending payment or verification. A small amount may be a card-verification transaction, and a payment can still be processing. The amount alone does not prove that the charge is legitimate or that it is a verification.
Could it be a temporary verification charge?
Roblox says Xsolla may create a verification micro-transaction typically between $0.20 and $0.90 USD. The amount is used as a verification code, and Roblox says it will be automatically credited back within 1–10 working days, whether or not the purchase is completed. If the code is not verified, Roblox says the purchase will be refused. These are Roblox’s stated terms for this verification process, not a way to identify every small charge.
Pending entries can also reflect a payment that has not finished processing. Xsolla says an unsuccessful payment may fail to clear and return within 1–10 days, depending on the payment system; a payment that is still processing can take up to five business days. These are provider estimates, and your payment provider can clarify what a particular pending entry means.

Who to contact and what to provide
For a statement descriptor that says “Xsolla*Roblox,” Roblox directs you to Xsolla Customer Support. If the descriptor says “Roblox” without the Xsolla prefix, contact Roblox Support. Use the official support channel and provide the transaction date, amount, and transaction number if available, along with the payment-account information support requests.
If you do not recognize a charge, Roblox advises customers with applicable unauthorized card, PayPal, or Google Play charges to contact support before disputing the payment. Roblox says a dispute can limit its ability to issue a direct or immediate refund while the payment provider’s dispute process is underway. This describes Roblox’s support process; it does not guarantee what your bank or payment provider will decide.

Find receipts and preserve useful records
Roblox’s receipt guidance covers purchase-history sources including Xsolla. If you submit a receipt to Roblox, its article says the order number, billing address, Roblox product, and purchase amount should be visible. Xsolla says it may help locate a previous payment when given the game or service name; the game account name or linked email can also help. It may request a screenshot from the payment system to verify account ownership and may refuse a receipt request without adequate evidence.
Not receiving an email receipt does not establish that no payment occurred: Xsolla says it may not email a receipt automatically if no email address was entered at checkout. A payment may also still be pending or processing.

Keep the full statement descriptor, transaction date and amount, pending or posted status, transaction number if available, and related Roblox receipt or purchase-history information. For an unauthorized-charge report, Roblox asks for details such as charges by date and amount, billing name, card’s last four digits or PayPal account email, and, where applicable, Roblox username and Google Play order number. Share payment information only through the official support channel for the provider handling the charge.

Without transaction-level access, it is not possible to determine whether a particular charge was authorized, which Roblox account it relates to, or whether a refund will be issued. The descriptor, transaction status, purchase records, and support provider’s investigation are needed to resolve those questions.
