TechJuice reported on January 29, 2026, that Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) shares fell 10% to the lower lock limit after the company announced its 2025 results. The reviewed Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) material does not independently verify that session’s price move, and the available sources do not establish why investors reacted that way.
What was reported about FFC shares?
TechJuice’s January 29, 2026 report described a 10% decline to the lower lock limit following FFC’s 2025 financial-results announcement. Treat this as a reported move for a specific trading session, not a verified current price or an independently confirmed historical quote. The PSX company page provides financial and company disclosures but does not confirm that daily move. TechJuice’s report and the PSX FFC page are the relevant records.
What did FFC report for 2025?
PSX’s annual financial table lists the following 2025 figures. Sales and profit are reported in PKR thousands; EPS is in rupees per share.
| Measure | 2025 figure listed by PSX |
|---|---|
| Sales | PKR 432,410,443 thousand |
| Profit after taxation | PKR 73,564,267 thousand |
| EPS | PKR 51.69 |
TechJuice also noted higher gross profit and earnings per share, and a cash dividend of Rs 8.5 per share. These reported results and the dividend do not, on their own, explain the share-price move: a market price reflects expectations as well as reported performance, and the sources do not establish what investors expected or why they sold.

Why did the share price fall?
The cause is not established by the sources reviewed. TechJuice suggested that investors might have been concerned about one-off income adjustments, cost pressures, or expectations that the results would be stronger. Those are possibilities raised in that report, not verified explanations or confirmed company disclosures. No named expert or official statement in the reviewed material identifies a cause.
It is therefore possible to say that the reported decline followed the results announcement, but not that the results—or any specific line item—caused it. The reported 10% move, the EPS, profit, and dividend describe different things; their coincidence does not prove a causal link.

How to check later FFC figures and disclosures
PSX’s company page is the relevant place to check subsequent financial announcements and current exchange notices. For example, it lists Q2 2026 sales of PKR 104,319,791 thousand, profit after taxation of PKR 24,368,981 thousand, and EPS of PKR 16.94; PSX identifies the result announcement for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as dated July 29, 2026. These are later figures and do not explain the January 2026 trading session.
The current PSX page also displays a warning that FFC is in continuous violation of specified exchange clauses and may face suspension or delisting risk. That warning is not evidence that suspension or delisting has occurred. Because exchange notices can change, check the live FFC company page for the latest wording and status before relying on it.
