Rashed Belhasa, known online as Money Kicks, became famous through sneaker-focused social media and later expanded into reported fashion, music and creator ventures. The available reporting does not establish that he is a billionaire or the UAE’s richest young person. A 2019 Gulf News article described his father, Saif Ahmed Belhasa, as a billionaire; that is a claim about his father, not a verified estimate of Rashed’s personal wealth.
Who is Rashed Belhasa?
Belhasa is a Dubai-based creator whose early public profile centered on sneakers and social media. His online name, Money Kicks, became associated with videos about his collection and lifestyle. Profiles published between 2016 and 2021 also described commercial and creative activity, but they are dated snapshots—not current financial disclosures.
How Money Kicks became known
In a July 2021 Gulf News interview, Belhasa said he began posting on Instagram around 2015, then decided to make YouTube videos after watching creators in the United States. He said a brand deal came within months of starting and described the business opportunity as unexpected: “I never knew that [social media] could become a lucrative business. Never in my life.” That is his account of his early experience, not an audited statement of earnings.
Sneaker collecting was central to the attention his videos attracted. The National’s June 2016 profile described a collection of 200 pairs valued at US$30,000 and quoted Belhasa calling it “a serious business investment.” In a 2018 Gulf News profile, Belhasa estimated the collection at more than US$80,000. These are figures reported for different years and should not be treated as current valuations or directly comparable appraisals.

What was reported about his audience and ventures?
Belhasa said in the 2018 Gulf News profile that YouTube advertising helped fund sneaker purchases. That article reported 149,000 YouTube subscribers and 134,000 Instagram followers at the time. The National reported more than 3 million YouTube subscribers and 1.9 million Instagram followers in July 2021. These are historical audience counts, not current figures or measures of personal wealth.
Profiles from 2016 and 2018 also described KA-1, a men’s streetwear line. The National said it was co-owned with designer Ross Mackay; Gulf News likewise described it as co-owned. The reporting does not establish the venture’s current ownership, operation or availability.

Gulf News covered Belhasa’s debut song in 2019, while later profiles documented other parts of his public-facing activity. In 2021, The National reported that he was preparing for a planned influencer boxing debut and training at TK MMA & Fitness. This is historical context, not evidence of his current sports activity.
Is Rashed Belhasa a billionaire or the UAE’s richest kid?
Those labels are not substantiated by the available reporting. Gulf News called his father, Saif Ahmed Belhasa, a billionaire in 2019, but the sources reviewed do not provide a reliable current estimate of Rashed’s personal net worth or a defensible ranking that makes him the UAE’s richest young person.

Family wealth, a valuable sneaker collection, a large social-media audience and reported business ventures do not by themselves establish an individual’s net worth. The cited profiles do not provide audited information about Belhasa’s assets, liabilities, income or ownership stakes. It is therefore more accurate to describe him as a creator whose public image grew from sneaker content, rather than attach a billionaire valuation to him.
What does he actually own?
The reporting supports specific claims about past activity, not a current inventory of assets. It records collection estimates and a reported co-owned clothing line, but does not verify what Belhasa owns today or the value of any current holdings.

- Sneakers: A 2016 profile reported 200 pairs and a US$30,000 collection valuation; in 2018, Belhasa estimated the collection at more than US$80,000. Neither figure establishes today’s collection or its present value.
- KA-1: The National and Gulf News described the streetwear line as co-owned in their 2016 and 2018 coverage. Its current status is not established by those reports.
- Social-media income: Belhasa discussed a brand deal and YouTube advertising, but the interviews do not state audited earnings or current income.
How to read the “richest kid” headlines
Celebrity wealth labels often blur together family resources, visible spending, reported ventures and personal assets. In Belhasa’s case, the distinction matters: the billionaire description in the cited coverage refers to his father, while the figures about Rashed concern earlier sneaker estimates and social-media audiences. None is a verified current personal net-worth figure.
His own 2021 explanation of business emphasized relationships: “Your network is your net worth, as it’s all about who you know.” In context, that was a comment about building a business, not a disclosure of his financial assets. The evidence supports a story about a young creator turning an online interest into a public-facing brand; it does not support a precise claim about his wealth.
