Why Schwarzenegger’s estimate can vary by source
Different publishers and dates produce different estimates. Forbes estimated Schwarzenegger’s fortune at $1 billion in its 2024 reporting for the World’s Billionaires List. A 2025 article by TheStreet reported a Forbes estimate of $1.2 billion as of July 2025. Those figures are not a like-for-like comparison with Stallone’s $400 million Celebrity Net Worth estimate, so they do not replace the two-person comparison above.
Forbes’ 2024 account pointed to wealth beyond acting, including business and investment holdings and real estate. It estimated Schwarzenegger’s just-under-5% stake in Dimensional Fund Advisors at nearly $500 million when the firm managed $718 billion, and his personal real estate at about $40 million. Forbes also estimated about $500 million in movie earnings and profit participation before taxes and fees, with roughly $170 million remaining after taxes and fees. These are reported components and estimates—not a complete audited balance sheet. Forbes said Schwarzenegger’s longtime advisor declined to comment on his total net worth.

What Stallone’s reported earnings do—and don’t—show
Stallone’s wealth is associated with acting as well as writing, directing, producing, investments, and real estate. Celebrity Net Worth calculates at least $360 million from selected publicly reported film compensation, before inflation adjustment. That is an incomplete tally: it excludes unavailable salaries and other income, and it is not a net-worth figure.
Film success also does not automatically mean personal ownership of the underlying franchise. Celebrity Net Worth says Stallone does not personally own the Rocky franchise. Its commercial success should therefore not be counted as though the franchise itself were his personal asset.
