What the announcement says about the awards
CIO published the announcement by Cathy O’Sullivan on 14 August 2025. It describes the CIO50 awards as part of Foundry’s global CIO awards program, recognizing IT teams for excellence in specific areas. It also called 2025 a “record year for entries across all categories,” but gave no entry total or comparison period.

The August announcement said winners would be unveiled at the invite-only CSO30 & CIO50 Awards Dinner on 23 September 2025 at Hyde Park Doltone House in Sydney. That was the event schedule reported at the time; the announcement itself is a finalists list, not confirmation of the ceremony outcome or a winners list.
