What the sightings can—and cannot—tell you
The watch identifications below come from dated reporting by GQ and Hodinkee. They connect particular models to Curry at particular events; they do not confirm private ownership or a complete collection. Model names and specifications are attributed to the outlet that reported them.

How to read the Rolex and Cartier sightings
The Sea-Dweller is a recurring sighting, not a confirmed favorite
Hodinkee’s reporting links the stainless-steel Deepsea Sea-Dweller to Curry at the January 2023 White House visit and says the model had been seen on him as far back as 2015. Repeated public sightings do not establish that it is his favorite, his everyday watch, or one he still owns.
The Day-Date reports describe separate appearances
GQ’s 2022 report names a yellow-gold Day-Date II, while Hodinkee’s 2024 Olympics roundup names a Day-Date reference 228238. Keep the identifications tied to their respective dates and sources rather than treating them as a single confirmed configuration.

The two Santos identifications are different watches
The 2018 report describes a rose-gold skeletonized Santos with a grey alligator strap. The 2024 report identifies a blue Santos, reference CRWSSA0048. They should not be collapsed into one model or appearance.
What is known about the collection’s value?
These sightings do not provide a dependable total value for Curry’s watches. No verified comparable set of current prices is established here, and a dealer’s collection estimate is not independent confirmation of ownership or value. The $7,925 figure attached to the Hermès Cape Cod TGM is only the price GQ listed in 2016, not a present-day market price.

What the public record does not establish
- A complete or authenticated inventory of Curry’s watches.
- Whether he currently owns each watch reported in a past sighting.
- Which watch is his favorite, why he chooses particular watches, or how he acquired them.
- A brand endorsement or a verified total collection value.
Hodinkee writer Danny Milton offered his own observation about athletes’ watch choices: “When it comes to players and their watch choices, I’ve often noticed that tastes seem to veer toward precious metals or the very high-end.” That is the writer’s view, not a statement by Curry.
