For original disclosures from Indian listed companies, start with the SEBI corporate-filings index or search the company on the NSE or BSE filing pages. For analyst research, verify the analyst or firm in SEBI’s Research Analyst directory, then assess the report’s date, assumptions and evidence separately. A filing is a company disclosure; an analyst report is an interpretation, not a substitute for that disclosure.
Where can I find company filings for Indian stocks?
Use the stock exchanges’ corporate filing pages to locate the listed company’s original disclosures. SEBI’s corporate-filings index is a useful guide when you are unsure which category to choose: it directs readers to exchange pages for filing types including financial results, shareholding patterns, corporate governance, business responsibility and sustainability reports, voting results, related-party transactions, insider-trading disclosures and secretarial compliance.

NSE also offers an annual-report lookup by company name or symbol, as well as an investor dashboard for tracking recent filings for selected companies. These are useful routes into exchange disclosures; confirm the company identity before opening a document.
Quick workflow for finding the right document
- Find the company by name or symbol. Start on an exchange filing page, or use NSE’s company lookup or investor dashboard.
- Select the filing category. Use SEBI’s index to identify the exchange page for the document type you need, whether that is a financial result, annual report, shareholding disclosure or another filing.
- Open the exchange-hosted document. Note its filing date and reporting period. The filing is the primary disclosure; an online summary or commentary is not the same document.
- Use investor relations as a companion route. A company’s own investor-relations page may make annual reports, presentations and call materials easier to navigate. Where the distinction matters, compare the document and date with the exchange filing; an IR page’s completeness is company-specific.
Where can I read an Indian company’s annual report?
Use NSE’s Annual Reports page to look up a listed company by name or symbol. You can also find the report through the relevant exchange’s filings or the company’s investor-relations site. Check that the report belongs to the intended company and covers the financial period you need; a recently posted document may describe an earlier reporting period.

How do I check if a stock analyst is SEBI registered?
SEBI Investor Support links to intermediary registration resources, including the Research Analyst directory. Use the directory to check the analyst’s or firm’s identity and the registration details shown there. The register page identified its records as of 2 October 2026 when reviewed on 4 October 2026, so check the live entry rather than relying on a saved copy.
Registration verification helps confirm that the person or firm has a record in the relevant directory. It does not certify that a particular report is accurate, suitable for you or free from limitations. Read the report’s disclosures and judge its claims on their evidence.

Where can I find analyst reports for Indian stocks?
There is no single official repository established here for all broker and independent analyst reports. Look for the report through the named analyst or research firm, and check the provider’s own access terms. Availability, cost and subscription requirements depend on the provider; do not assume a report is free or that every analyst’s work is available in one place.

How to assess an analyst report against a company filing
Use the report as analysis and the exchange filing as the source for company-reported facts. Check the items below before relying on a report’s conclusions:
- Identity: Is the company and document clearly identified in the filing? Is the report attributed to a named analyst or firm whose registration details you can verify?
- Dates and periods: Record the filing date and reporting period, then compare them with the report’s publication date and forecast horizon. A later report may use information unavailable when an older filing was made.
- Reported figures versus estimates: Trace historical company figures to the filing. Separate those figures from the analyst’s forecasts, valuation assumptions and interpretation.
- Evidence and limitations: Look for the thesis, assumptions and any disclosed conflicts or limitations. Check material factual claims against the relevant original disclosure rather than relying only on a summary.
- Access terms: An official exchange page and a provider’s report are different routes with different access arrangements. Confirm any cost or subscription terms with the provider.
The official pages establish where to search for disclosures and how to look up registration details; they do not establish the quality of an individual analyst report.
