Perth Airport’s first KFC was scheduled to open on Saturday, 17 August 2024, on Dunreath Drive in the Airport West precinct, beside McDonald’s. It is an Airport West location, not a restaurant identified as being inside a passenger terminal. The opening-day hours and delivery information below are what was announced in 2024, not confirmation of current service.
Where is the Perth Airport KFC?
The restaurant is on Dunreath Drive in Airport West, neighbouring McDonald’s. PerthNow’s report identifies it as part of the Airport West estate; it does not place the KFC inside a terminal. The report notes that the estate is also home to Terminals 3 and 4, but does not give terminal access, parking or directions.

PerthNow reported on 16 August 2024 that the airport’s first KFC was due to have its grand opening the following day, Saturday, 17 August 2024. This was the first KFC at Perth Airport, not the first KFC in Perth.

Source and current-status limits
The opening date, location, announced hours, delivery statement and employment figure come from Zach Margolius’s PerthNow report, published 16 August 2024: “First-ever KFC opening at Perth Airport on August 17”. It is a report about the opening announcement, not a current store listing; it does not confirm whether the restaurant remains open or establish current hours, menu, prices, access arrangements or delivery coverage.
