On the measure most people mean by “most expensive,” the highest listed adult price, Blackburn Rovers sit 16th of 24 Championship clubs for 2026–27, with a top adult price of £575. On the entry price, the club’s headline figure of £299 is among the cheapest in the division. Which answer is right depends on which price you compare, and the club has not published the full stand-by-stand table that would let you check its top price against its own numbers.
Two answers, depending on the price you compare
| Measure | Blackburn figure | Position among 24 clubs | Who calculated or published it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Highest listed adult price | £575 (range £365–£575) | 16th highest; 15 clubs list a higher maximum | Calculated from LiveFootballTickets’ approximate comparison table, last updated 2 October 2026 |
| Lowest adult entry price | £299 | 5th lowest, including early-bird discounts | Cardiff City Football Forum post dated 22 June 2026, a fan-compiled list rather than an official EFL ranking |
| Club’s headline starting price | From £299 with a price freeze | Not a ranking | Blackburn Rovers FC announcement, 24 April 2026 |
The “16th” figure is a calculation from a reseller’s table, not a position the club or the league publishes. Treat it as a reasonable estimate of where Blackburn sits on the top-price measure, not a verified league table.
What Blackburn has promised for 2026–27
The club’s April 2026 announcement is the primary source for Blackburn’s pricing. It says:
- Prices are frozen at the previous season’s level.
- Adult season tickets start at £299. The club’s wording is “Adult Season Tickets are available from just £299 – working out at only £13 per game.”
- Digital tickets are included for every supporter.
- An optional physical season-ticket card costs £20.
- Offline purchases carry a £10 fee, and the club lists online purchases as free of that charge.
- Each transaction carries a £2 booking fee.
The £13 per-game figure is the club’s own arithmetic. £299 divided by £13 is about 23, so the calculation assumes roughly 23 games. The announcement’s text does not give the match count in the portion available to readers, so check it against the fixture list before relying on the per-game number.

What the entry ticket actually costs
For a personal budget, the headline price is only the start. Working from the club’s stated fees:
- Base adult season ticket: £299.
- Add the £2 booking fee for the transaction: £301 with a digital ticket.
- Add the optional £20 physical card: £321 online, including the booking fee.
- Buying offline adds the club’s £10 offline fee, so the same ticket costs more through that route.
The gap between the cheapest and dearest adult ranges is large. A fan choosing the bottom of Blackburn’s range (£299) rather than the top (£575) saves £276 a season before fees, on the club’s and reseller’s figures.

The top-price table, club by club
The reseller’s table lists Blackburn’s adult range as £365–£575 and sorts clubs by their listed maximum. The figures below are that table’s listed maximums, not independently verified club prices.
| Position | Club | Listed maximum adult price |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | West Ham | £1,400 |
| 2 | Southampton | £780 |
| 3 | Wolves | £710 |
| 4 | Sheffield United | £700 |
| 5 | Norwich | £690 |
| 6 | Cardiff | £670 |
| 7 | Watford | £660 |
| 8 | Burnley | £645 |
| 9 | Bristol City | £630 |
| 10 | West Brom | £625 |
| 11 | Wrexham | £625 |
| 12 | QPR | £615 |
| 13 | Birmingham | £610 |
| 14 | Stoke | £600 |
| 15 | Swansea | £590 |
| 16 | Blackburn Rovers | £575 |
West Brom and Wrexham share the same listed maximum, so the order between them is a tie. The remaining eight clubs in the table list maximums at or below £575.

Why the ranking changes with the measure
Ranking by the cheapest price and ranking by the most expensive seat answer different questions. A club can have a low entry price and a high top price, or the reverse. Blackburn is a useful example: its entry price is low, but its top adult price sits in the upper half of the division.
Lowest entry price
A Cardiff City Football Forum post dated 22 June 2026 lists the cheapest adult price at each of 24 clubs, including early-bird discounts. In ascending order, the first five are Lincoln (£273), QPR (£275), Bolton and Cardiff (£279 each), and Blackburn (£299). That places Blackburn fifth-lowest on this list. The list is fan-compiled and reflects prices at the date of the post.

Sale stage and renewal prices
Club announcements often quote different prices for different sales windows, and these should never be mixed with the ranking tables above without a label:
- Southampton published a starting adult price of £478 on one sales page. A later general-sale page says remaining tickets start at £510. The two figures describe different stages of the same sale.
- West Ham says adult prices start at £310 and that renewal prices fell by 10–30%. Its announcement does not give the top adult price that the reseller table uses.
- West Bromwich Albion gives a general-sale adult starting price of £439. Its top price is not in the same source, so it cannot be placed in the highest-price comparison from the club’s own statement alone.
Historical context, not a price ranking
Blackburn Rovers Fans’ Forum minutes from 2025 report club statements that, in the 2024–25 season, Blackburn ranked 23rd in Championship season-ticket revenue and had about 7,000 fewer season-ticket holders than the Championship average. These figures describe how many fans bought tickets and what the club earned from them, not what a 2026–27 ticket costs, so they do not change either ranking above.

What the comparisons cannot tell you
- The reseller table is approximate. Its prices vary by stand, membership status, and payment method, and the top figure for any club is not tied to a single seat type.
- The club’s full price table was not in its announcement text, so the £575 maximum cannot be confirmed against Blackburn’s own figures.
- The dates differ. The club announcement is from 24 April 2026, the fan list from 22 June 2026, and the reseller table from 2 October 2026. The 2026–27 season is already under way, so check the club’s current price list before you buy.
- Premium and hospitality seats are not covered by any of these sources, so the top-price rank refers only to the standard adult ranges listed.
For official pricing, use the club’s own pages. The club’s season-ticket announcement is at Blackburn Rovers FC’s 2026–27 season-ticket launch. The reseller comparison is at LiveFootballTickets’ Championship adult season-ticket comparison, and the fan-compiled cheapest-price list is at Cardiff City Football Forum’s cheapest adult season-ticket list.
Club sources used for the sale-stage comparisons: Southampton FC’s general sale announcement, Southampton FC’s men’s season-ticket announcement, West Ham United’s 2026–27 renewals, and West Bromwich Albion’s 2026–27 general sale. The Fans’ Forum minutes are at Blackburn Rovers Fans’ Forum minutes.
