That window does not mean a particular toy was available at a deal price throughout the event. Amazon’s event announcement described offers on selected classic toys and character-themed products, including items from Hasbro Gaming, Fisher-Price and American Girl; it did not say every product from those brands was discounted.

Walmart’s September 16, 2025 Top Toys list names 50 holiday picks and gives prices for selected products. Those prices are not identified as Black Friday prices. Target’s October 30, 2025 holiday announcement describes offers that have also expired: a 25% off one toy or children’s book offer through Target Circle, available through November 15, and a Holiday Price Match Guarantee running November 1 through December 24. These historical terms do not establish a price for any particular toy.

Walmart’s September list supplies concrete examples of 2025 toy selection and listed prices. These are retailer-stated September prices, not confirmed Black Friday deal prices, and the source does not establish that they were the lowest prices available.

Amazon’s announcement supports the broader observation that LEGO building sets appeared among toy categories promoted for its event, but it does not verify a specific set’s price. Amazon’s Black Friday 2025 overview is therefore category-level context, not evidence for an item-by-item deal comparison. LEGO also published a 2025 Black Friday deals page, but that page does not provide a complete historical list of 100 offers.
How to judge a historical toy deal fairly
A deal comparison only means something when the product and price evidence line up. A set, edition, size, age range or included-piece count can make two listings non-equivalent. A retailer’s stated comparison price also should not be treated as an independently verified usual price. The available sources do not document a consistent lowest-price history across all items.

- Check the exact product and variant: match the set or edition, included pieces and other defining details before comparing listings.
- Keep retailer and dates attached to the price: record where and when the offer was advertised; event dates do not prove a specific item remained available for the entire window.
- Separate sale price from comparison price: if a retailer states a prior or reference price, label it as the retailer’s claim rather than an independently established regular price.
- Choose by recipient and play style: building sets, games, dolls, plush toys, creative kits and active-play toys serve different needs. A retailer’s “top toys” selection does not prove universal quality or value.
What the retailer context says about holiday toy shopping
Walmart’s September announcement cited Circana Retail Tracking Service data from August 2025 saying 37% of toys sold in the U.S. feature characters from movies, shows and games. It also attributed to The Toy Association’s 2025 Toy Fair Top Toy Trends Briefing the finding that 63% of millennial parents considered social, emotional and mental-health benefits a top toy-shopping consideration. These are attributed market findings, not evidence that a particular toy was popular, discounted or a good value.
