KFC announced its Dunk It Bucket on March 17, 2025, calling it the chain’s first new bucket in nearly a decade. The limited-time U.S. offer paired tenders, fries, Mashed Potato Poppers and dipping sauces; its advertised launch prices were $7 for the solo bucket and $25 for the Double. Those are historical prices, and the available sources do not confirm whether the offer is still on menus in October 2026.
What was the KFC Dunk It Bucket?
The Dunk It Bucket was a limited-time KFC U.S. meal built around dipping. It brought together Original Recipe Tenders, Secret Recipe Fries, the newly introduced Mashed Potato Poppers and sauces. KFC described it as its first brand-new bucket in nearly a decade in its March 17, 2025 launch announcement. Yum Brands later likewise characterized it as a packaging innovation designed for dipping tenders, fries and poppers.
What came in the launch offer?
Solo Dunk It Bucket
KFC said the solo bucket started at $7 at launch. The announcement described the bucket’s combination of tenders, fries, Mashed Potato Poppers and dipping sauces, but did not give a full item count for the solo version.
Double Dunk It Bucket
Nation’s Restaurant News reported that the $25 Double included 10 tenders, two individual fries, 10 Mashed Potato Poppers, six sauces and four biscuits. Both the price and configuration refer to the 2025 launch, not a current menu offer.

Mashed Potato Poppers and sauces
KFC described the Mashed Potato Poppers as mashed potatoes with a crisp fried exterior and creamy interior. The launch announcement also offered them à la carte in a five-count with warm gravy. Listed bucket sauces were warm gravy, Comeback Sauce, Honey BBQ, Honey Mustard, Sticky Chicky Sweet and Sour, Classic Ranch and Buffalo Ranch. The Double’s reported six-sauce count does not mean every listed sauce was included in that configuration.
