What was on ALDI’s $40 Thanksgiving list?
In an October 15, 2025 announcement, ALDI U.S. said shoppers could buy 21 products for a combined $40, which the company described as $4 per intended serving. The meal was built around a 14-pound turkey and nine sides: rolls, cranberry sauce, mac and cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie. ALDI’s announcement lists these groceries and ingredients:
- Whole turkey
- Chicken broth
- Condensed cream of mushroom soup
- Evaporated milk
- Hawaiian sweet rolls
- Miniature marshmallows
- Cut green beans (two)
- 100% pure canned pumpkin
- Shells & cheese (two)
- Brown gravy mix (three)

- Whipped dairy topping

The announcement groups some quantities and ingredients in the list, while separately describing the offer as 21 products. It does not provide a recipe-by-recipe ingredient breakdown.
Was it a bundle or a ready-to-eat dinner?
No. The $40 figure was the advertised combined price for groceries to purchase individually. ALDI said the items would be marked on shelf and that no coupons or memberships were required. The announcement does not say the offer included a prepared meal, cooking labor, cookware, or every ingredient a particular recipe might require. A roasting pan, if needed, would be an optional purchase outside the stated grocery total.

Did ALDI’s meal feed 10 people?
ALDI advertised the list as enough for 10 people, or $4 per person. That is the company’s intended serving count and arithmetic based on its $40 total, not an independent assessment of portion sizes or a comparison with other stores. Whether it is enough for a particular gathering depends on appetites and the portions served.
When and how could shoppers get the 2025 offer?
ALDI’s announcement said the offer ran from October 15 through December 24, 2025, in the United States. Shoppers could visit an ALDI store, order online for curbside pickup, or use Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash. Prices and stock can vary locally; the announcement does not establish that these dates or ordering routes apply to a later year.

Is the $40 Thanksgiving meal available in 2026?
The cited ALDI announcement documents the 2025 offer only. Food Network also covered that year’s deal, but its coverage does not establish a new 2026 offer. Food Network’s 2025 coverage likewise refers to the earlier meal. Check ALDI’s current announcements and your local store for confirmation before budgeting around the $40 figure; it should not be treated as a current price without a new confirmation.
