If a Flipkart sale order is late, cancelled or marked refunded but the money has not arrived, start with that order’s Help or Customer Care option while signed in. Ask Flipkart to confirm the order-specific status and next step, and keep a record of the reply. If support does not resolve the complaint, contact the grievance officer listed by Flipkart; India’s e-commerce rules set complaint-handling deadlines, not a universal bank-refund posting time.
Start with the affected order in your Flipkart account
Flipkart’s support article, published October 6, 2026, gives these routes:

- In the app: Sign in and go to Account > Orders. Select the affected order, tap Help, then choose Chat with us.
- On the website: Sign in, open 24×7 Customer Care, select the order or issue, and start a chat.
Flipkart’s official support article describes these steps. The Help Centre lists delivery, cancellation and refund topics, but recent-order assistance requires you to log in.
Explain whether the delivery estimate has passed, the order was cancelled, or the refund is showing as initiated or completed without appearing in your payment account. Ask support to confirm the latest status, whether a cancellation is final, the refund initiation date and any reference available, and when to expect the next update. These are questions to clarify your case, not promises that every order will use the same status labels or have the same resolution.

What to do in each situation

After Flipkart confirms a refund was processed, check the original payment account and contact the relevant bank, card issuer or payment provider about its posting. A refund marked initiated or completed in an order page is a different checkpoint from the money appearing in your account.
Keep a clear record of the complaint
Save the order ID, screenshots of the estimate and status, support chat transcript, case or complaint reference, cancellation notice, and payment statement if the refund is missing. A concise timeline helps: note the order date, the estimated delivery date or cancellation, when the refund status changed, and each support contact. Keep copies of what you send and the replies you receive.

Escalate an unresolved complaint in India
If frontline support does not resolve the issue, use the grievance officer or contact details displayed by Flipkart. Send the order ID, a short timeline, the outcome you are asking for, and the relevant screenshots or records.
Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, an e-commerce grievance officer must acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and redress it within one month of receipt. These are complaint-handling deadlines; they are not a deadline for a bank or card issuer to post a refund that Flipkart has already initiated. The Department of Consumer Affairs lists the rules and amendments; the Government of India has also described these timelines and the National Consumer Helpline in a parliamentary answer.

Flipkart advises customers to use its official support route and, if contacting it through another channel, only its official Flipkart Support handle. Do not rely on numbers or social accounts sent by unsolicited callers, search ads or messages. Never share an OTP or account credentials with an unsolicited contact.

There is no universal cancellation eligibility rule or refund-credit time established for all Flipkart sale orders. The applicable status and next step can depend on the particular order, seller, payment method and product, so use the order page and an order-specific support response rather than assuming a general sale-order rule.
