The proposed integration is intended to coordinate the move from port arrival to inland trucking through truck matching, API-based data exchange, and shipment tracking. The announcement describes a plan—not a confirmed launch or independently measured results.
What does the BBTruck and Haulio partnership do?
The companies propose linking two different parts of logistics operations. BBTruck provides technology for broader supply-chain planning and transport coordination; Haulio focuses on digital container haulage, including the first-mile movement of containers from ports. Their stated goal is to connect long- and short-haul logistics.
BBTruck describes services covering production, distribution, transport, and demand planning on its official site. SAP’s partner listing also describes BBTruck tools for automated order placement, cargo tracking, digital information exchange, and carrier management. Haulio presents its platform as connecting global trade with local first-mile transportation across ASEAN, with workflow automation, fleet visibility, and collaboration tools on its official site.
How is the proposed port-to-inland workflow meant to work?
- Coordinate the broader shipment: BBTruck’s platform gathers supply-chain and transport information.
- Match inland capacity after port arrival: When a container reaches its delivery port, the planned integration would use Haulio’s platform to match it with available trucks for inland transport.
- Exchange operational data: API integration would allow the platforms to share information for capacity monitoring, route information, and shipment-status tracking.
These capabilities are described in the companies’ December 2, 2024 announcement. The release explains the intended workflow but does not confirm that it has launched or identify a deployed joint operation.

Which Southeast Asian markets did BBTruck plan to enter?
In the announcement, BBTruck named Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam as intended expansion markets. It said Haulio’s local market presence and operational capacity could support that plan. The list reflects the companies’ stated ambition in December 2024; it does not establish that BBTruck’s integrated service is currently available in every country.

The December 2024 release said Haulio collaborated with “about 90%” of Singapore’s container logistics companies. That is a Haulio claim reported in the announcement, not an independently verified or current market-share statistic.

The release also describes the partnership’s intended benefits—more coordinated capacity, route information, and shipment visibility—but does not report measured savings, efficiency gains, or other post-launch outcomes. It names no joint customers, launch date, pricing, or contract terms. BBTruck’s services and Haulio’s platform therefore explain the proposed fit, but the announcement alone cannot establish adoption or realized results.
