In an ELLE interview tied to the 2024 launch of SKKN by Kim Makeup, Kardashian described her long-standing approach to nude lips. Her words were: “For me, a nude lip. I’ve always done a darker liner with an ombré nude lip and that will always be super in to me.”

SKKN by Kim Makeup
In the same interview she said she likes liner 13 with lipstick shades 3 to 6. She also said the campaign shows liner Nude 9 with lipstick shade 3. ELLE described the launch line as 15 liner shades, ranging from beige and pink nudes to richer brown nudes, plus 10 velvet matte lip colors. Those are the brand’s own range counts as reported in 2024, not independent testing. The campaign pairing is a brand look and should not be read as her Met Gala choice.

Allure’s September 25, 2015 report on a tutorial with Joyce Bonelli names M.A.C. Lip Pencil in Boldly Bare and Kardashian Beauty Honey Stick Lip Gloss in Natural Honey. Kardashian’s method in that report was a neutral pink liner filled across the lips, with a nude gloss on top.
Glamour: Tom Ford Sable Smoke
Glamour’s November 9, 2015 coverage of a Mario Dedivanovic tutorial names Tom Ford Sable Smoke as a creamy nude lipstick. Kardashian’s comment on the formula was: “It still feels creamy, which I like.” The reported technique runs in three steps:
