Where was it, and what was nearby?
PerthNow placed the home in Carine, reporting that it was 750 metres from Carine Glades parkrun and 5 kilometres from Waterman’s Bay beach. The report did not give a street address, so those distances should be understood as the article’s descriptions rather than directions to a precisely identified property.

Who was Jim Kidd?
The report described Kidd as a sporting retailer who grew his business from one 75-square-metre shop in Fremantle to 10 shops. It said he died at age 70. These business details are figures reported by PerthNow in its 8 April 2025 article.
