Odd Atelier (OA) is the company Jennie announced on December 24, 2023, for her solo activities. She said she would begin her solo journey with OA in 2024. At the time, reporting described BLACKPINK’s group activities as remaining under a separate arrangement with YG Entertainment.
What is Odd Atelier?
Odd Atelier, abbreviated OA, is a company Jennie established for her individual activities. In her December 24, 2023 announcement, she wrote: “I’m also excited about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA.” Soompi reproduced the statement, and Yonhap also reported the company’s establishment for her solo work.

OSEN and OA’s LinkedIn company description state that the company was founded in November 2023. The description presents OA’s creative aim as making new things that attract attention in an unexpected way; that is the label’s stated ambition, not a measure of its results.
Was OA for Jennie’s solo work or BLACKPINK?
Contemporaneous coverage distinguished Jennie’s solo activities from BLACKPINK’s group activities. Soompi described Jennie’s solo work as managed by OA and the group’s activities as managed by YG Entertainment. Yonhap reported that BLACKPINK members had group activity contracts with YG. Those accounts describe the arrangement reported around the December 2023 announcement; they do not establish the parties’ current arrangements.

Did Jennie start a label with other artists?
The available contemporaneous reporting described OA as a label for Jennie’s individual activities, not as a broad roster-based agency. Yonhap reported no other artist signed with the company at that time. That does not establish OA’s current roster or operations.
