Forbes’ 2026 figure of $300 million is an earnings-list estimate, while the reported $5 billion valuation is for Beast Industries—not cash or net worth belonging to Jimmy Donaldson. His business model turns a huge audience into revenue through advertising, sponsorships, consumer products, licensing and software, and streaming. The distinction matters: in 2024, reported Feastables profit exceeded $20 million, while the similarly sized media business lost almost $80 million.
What is MrBeast’s net worth?
No reliable public source establishes Jimmy Donaldson’s current personal net worth. The sources available do not provide the personal assets, liabilities, ownership details or balance sheet needed to calculate it. Online estimates that state a precise fortune should therefore be treated as unverified, not as established fact.
Two widely cited figures answer different questions. Forbes’ profile, updated June 23, 2026, lists $300 million in 2026 Top Creators earnings. That is an earnings-list figure, not a measure of net worth. Fortune reported a $5 billion valuation for Beast Industries in 2025, and Forbes referenced that company valuation in 2026. A company valuation is not the amount its founder can personally spend: it reflects a business, and does not by itself reveal his ownership share, debts, taxes or other assets. Forbes’ profile and Fortune’s reporting should be read with those distinctions in mind.
How does MrBeast make money?
Donaldson’s business is not just a YouTube channel. His audience supports several connected revenue streams, but revenue, profit and personal income are different things. Money earned by a company may be spent on production, staff, marketing, expansion or other costs before any amount reaches an owner.

YouTube advertising and sponsorships
YouTube views can generate advertising revenue, while sponsored placements provide another route to monetize videos. The audience scale is substantial: Forbes’ June 23, 2026 profile describes more than 640 million subscribers across his channels and more than 5 billion views per year. Those are profile figures, not a live count, and views alone do not determine profit; production costs and the terms of advertising deals matter.
As a historical example rather than a current rate card, TIME reported in 2024 that brand shout-outs could cost $2.5 million to $3 million. The range was attributed to Marc Hustvedt, who ran Donaldson’s YouTube business at the time. TIME’s 2024 interview also reported Donaldson’s expectation then that his production company would not be profitable in 2024.
Feastables and other consumer products
Feastables turns attention into purchases of physical products, including chocolate. That can produce a different financial result from making videos: in materials sent to potential investors, reported by Fortune, Feastables had about $250 million in sales and more than $20 million in profit in 2024. These are reported company figures, not Donaldson’s personal income.

The same Fortune report said the media business had similar sales in 2024 but lost almost $80 million. It also reported a typical main-channel video cost of $3 million to $4 million, based on people familiar with company financials; that is not an audited cost for every video. Streaming: Beast Games
Beast Games brought Donaldson’s content operation to Prime Video. Fortune reported that producing season one cost more than $100 million and quoted Donaldson saying on the Diary of a CEO podcast, “I lost tens of millions of dollars on Beast Games.” A production payment or a show’s reach does not establish net profit; the reported loss underscores that a large-scale production can be expensive. Licensing, software and a broader portfolio
Forbes’ June 2026 profile lists businesses and ventures beyond videos and chocolate: Lunchly, creator analytics software Viewstats, toy and clothing licensing, and Beast Games. It also reports that Beast Industries purchased the Step financial app in February 2026. These activities broaden the portfolio, but their inclusion does not disclose how much profit they contribute or what portion, if any, accrues to Donaldson personally.

Reinvestment and what the public figures leave unknown
In a February 2024 Fortune interview, Donaldson said, “Right now, whatever we make, we reinvest,” describing his businesses at that time; he also said then that he did not consider himself rich.
