There is no verified public update in the available sources identifying what Jeremy Peace is doing now. The former West Bromwich Albion chairman and owner is not listed among the club’s current officers at Companies House, but that register does not reveal private work, investments or other activities.
What is publicly known about Jeremy Peace now?
The official Companies House officer register for West Bromwich Albion Football Club Limited lists Shilen Patel as an active director, appointed in February 2024, and does not list Peace among the current officers shown. That establishes his absence from the company’s listed current officers; it does not establish whether he has private business interests or informal associations.
The available public sources do not identify a current job, business, investment, charitable role or personal project for Peace. There is no basis in those sources to describe him as retired, inactive or involved in a particular venture.
What is the latest public matter linking him to West Brom?
On 14 August 2024, BBC Sport reported that an independent investigation into a £3.7 million loan made in 2014 to West Bromwich Albion Holdings Limited had concluded with no further action. The report said the parent company was then run by Peace. This is a report about a historical transaction, not evidence of a current role at the club.
#1 Best Overall
BBC Sport quoted a West Bromwich Albion club statement saying: “The club’s current directors remain under an obligation in relation to repayment of the loan.” The statement also said Bilkul assumed liability for the loan as part of its 2024 acquisition. Those comments concern the club and the transaction; they do not establish a personal repayment obligation for Peace.
What does his former ownership tell us?
Peace is a former West Bromwich Albion chairman and owner. Secondary biographical reporting says he sold the club to Guochuan Lai in 2016. That is historical context only and does not indicate what Peace has done since the sale.
