No reliable, independently supported net-worth figure for Stefan Rupp is currently available. The only specific number in circulation is a claim that his personal fortune is “around £100 million,” and it appears in a Bradford City supporters’ group history without a valuation method or primary source behind it. Treat that figure as an unverified attributed claim, not an estimate you can rely on.
Where the £100 million figure comes from
The Bantams Supporters’ Trust, the club’s supporters’ organisation, says in its undated “History of the Trust” page that Rupp “is said to have a personal fortune of around £100m.” The wording itself signals hearsay. The page does not say who made the estimate, when, or how it was reached, and it does not point to a balance sheet, valuation, or any other primary record.
That gap matters. A net-worth figure is only as strong as its method: which assets are counted, how they are valued, what debts are subtracted, and as of what date. None of those elements is present for this number, so it cannot be checked, updated, or compared with anything else.
What official records establish
Companies House, the UK registry of companies, confirms Rupp’s role in the club’s corporate structure. These records are useful for understanding control and appointments, but they do not describe his personal finances.

- Control of BC Bantams Limited: Companies House lists Stefan Albert Rupp as a person with significant control, holding 75% or more of voting rights. His recorded nationality is German and his recorded place of residence is Germany.
- Ownership of the holding company: Companies House records him as the owner of Bradford City Football Club Limited’s ultimate holding company, and his personal appointments record shows him as an active director.
- Latest club accounts: The most recent filing for Bradford City Football Club Limited is a total exemption full accounts filing for the year ended 30 June 2025, filed on 3 April 2026. This describes the company’s accounts only.
Control of a company is not the same as owning it outright in personal terms, and a company’s accounts show its own assets and liabilities, not the owner’s wealth. Even a fully owned club can represent a small part of an owner’s total holdings, or a large part of it, and the filings alone cannot tell you which.
Why club ownership and sponsorship do not reveal personal wealth
Readers often try to infer a person’s net worth from the business they run. That approach fails for several reasons:

- Official Licensed Manchester City F.C. Product

- Company value is not personal value. A football club’s accounts report its own income, costs, and balance sheet. They do not show what the owner holds personally, what he owes, or what he owns through other entities.
- Deals are not net worth. Bradford Means Business reported a commercial partnership between Bradford City and Flamingo Land and quoted Rupp about it. This is evidence of club activity, not of his personal assets.
- Control can be shared or indirect. Holding a majority of voting rights in one entity does not reveal the value of that stake, the value of any other interests, or any liabilities secured against them.
How to describe the figure accurately
If you need to mention the £100 million claim, attribute it to The Bantams Supporters’ Trust and state that it is unverified. For example:
The Bantams Supporters’ Trust has repeated a claim that Rupp’s personal fortune was around £100 million, but the figure is not independently substantiated in the material available.

Avoid stating it as a current net worth, a confirmed valuation, or a figure derived from his club ownership. Each of those phrasings claims more than the available evidence supports.

A credible estimate would need to show its date, the assets and liabilities it covers, the valuation method used, and the primary records behind it. Until a source provides those elements, no current personal net worth for Stefan Rupp can be stated with confidence.
