BidenCash was described in cybersecurity coverage as a criminal marketplace for stolen payment-card data. The widely repeated 15-cent figure is a price Reflectiz reported in 2024 as a possible low-end cost per card record—not a verified current listing, a universal price, or proof of what any buyer paid.
What is BidenCash?
Reflectiz, a cybersecurity vendor, described BidenCash as a dark-web carding market launched in early 2022, with a presence on the dark web and clearnet. BleepingComputer’s archive lists a report dated June 20, 2022, describing the newly launched site and its publicity through leaked payment-card details and owner information. The archive entry establishes the report’s date and headline, but does not by itself verify every detail attributed to the site.

These accounts describe a criminal marketplace, not a legitimate card service. They do not establish who operated it, whether it is operating today, or whether every card record offered there came from a particular breach. The latest relevant explanatory coverage in the available sources is Reflectiz’s article of November 4, 2024; it is not evidence of the market’s present status.
What does the 15-cent figure mean?
Reflectiz reported that stolen credit or debit card data could be offered for as little as 15 cents per item. That is best understood as a reported floor price in the vendor’s 2024 account. It is not an independently audited transaction, a confirmed current price, or a guarantee that every record cost the same amount. The article does not establish that a particular card was available at that price or that the amount remains applicable.

Reflectiz also described free releases as a promotional tactic. It reported that BidenCash released 1.9 million card details in December 2023. That number is Reflectiz’s reported figure; the available coverage does not provide an original dataset or independent confirmation of the total. A free release may draw attention to a criminal marketplace, but it does not verify the records’ source, validity, or completeness.
How can a website steal payment-card details?
One method Reflectiz explains is web skimming. An attacker who gains unauthorized access to an online store or payment site can insert malicious JavaScript into the checkout flow. The script may capture information customers enter into the payment form and send it to the attacker. Because the page can continue to look and behave normally, a shopper might not notice the compromise while checking out.

You do not need to visit or investigate a criminal marketplace to respond to a possible card-data exposure. Use the protections available through your card issuer and watch for unfamiliar transactions.

- Turn on transaction alerts if your issuer offers them, so you can spot activity promptly.
- If you see a charge you did not make, contact the issuer using the number on your card or its official app or website. Ask about blocking or replacing the card and disputing the transaction.
- Use unique passwords for shopping accounts and enable multifactor authentication where available. These steps help protect accounts, though they cannot prevent every form of card-data theft.
For online businesses, Reflectiz recommends a comprehensive security strategy centered on protecting sensitive data. Its article does not establish one specific tool or intervention as necessary or sufficient, so organizations should assess their own payment setup and security obligations rather than treating a single measure as a complete fix.

The reporting supports a cautious account: BleepingComputer’s archive documents a June 2022 report about BidenCash publicizing leaked card details, while Reflectiz’s November 2024 article describes a carding market, a reported price floor, and a reported giveaway.
