Amazon Haul is Amazon’s low-price shopping storefront, launched in the United States in November 2024. It has a separate browsing and checkout experience from the main Amazon store, and Amazon initially described its products as costing $20 or less, with most under $10. Its prices and slower delivery make it comparable in concept to Temu and Shein—but available reporting does not show that Haul has matched or overtaken either competitor.
What is Amazon Haul?
Haul is a section of Amazon for low-priced goods, including apparel, accessories, household products, toys, electronics, and beauty items. It uses its own shopping experience, with a separate search, cart, and checkout flow. Amazon introduced it in the U.S. in November 2024 as a mobile-only storefront; the company later reported expansion beyond the U.S. Amazon’s Haul information describes the original U.S. service, while its anniversary update describes later growth.
At launch, Amazon said products would cost $20 or less, with most under $10. In its 2025 anniversary update, Amazon said Haul had more than one million items under $10, many under $5, and that selection had grown nearly 400% since launch. Amazon also said customer visits had tripled since June. Those are company-reported figures, not independent measurements of sales, market share, or customer satisfaction.
Is Amazon Haul like Temu or Shein?
In practical terms, the services share a low-price, high-volume shopping proposition: browse a broad selection of inexpensive goods, accept that delivery may take longer than a typical Amazon order, and compare listings before buying. The Associated Press reported that Haul’s launch assortment resembled products available on Temu and Shein, and that Amazon positioned the storefront to compete with them. Launch coverage and TechCrunch’s report describe that competitive context; neither establishes a winner.

The comparison should not be mistaken for a like-for-like price test. Prices, delivery terms, selection, and promotions vary by country and date, and the available sources do not provide a same-country, same-date basket comparison across the three services. Amazon’s reported growth in selection and visits is not directly comparable to independently measured competitor sales or market share.
How does Haul shopping differ from a typical Amazon order?
The clearest difference is the trade-off between price and speed. Amazon’s U.S. Haul information and AP’s 2024 launch report described delivery in one to two weeks—slower than the rapid delivery often associated with the broader Amazon store. AP reported that U.S. Haul orders were planned to ship from an Amazon-operated warehouse in China. These are launch-era U.S. descriptions, not a delivery guarantee for every current order or market.

Order minimums and fees also depend on the local storefront. For example, Amazon’s U.S. information described free delivery above $25 and a $3.99 delivery fee below that amount. Amazon Canada’s November 14, 2025 announcement described free delivery from C$35 and a C$6.99 charge below that threshold, with delivery in two weeks or less. Check the terms displayed in your own market before placing an order; these examples are not universal or necessarily current.
How long does Amazon Haul shipping take?
For the U.S. launch, Amazon described delivery in one to two weeks, and AP reported the same expected window. Amazon Canada’s November 2025 announcement said delivery would take two weeks or less. These are market- and time-specific descriptions, not a single worldwide service standard. The delivery estimate at checkout for your location is the useful figure for a particular order.

What are Haul’s return and purchase protections?
Amazon’s U.S. Haul information says eligible purchases over $3 can be returned free within 15 days, and that Haul items are covered by Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee. Amazon Canada’s launch announcement described free returns requested within 15 days of receipt. Check the current policy for the item and country before buying, since thresholds and terms can differ by market.
Amazon says Haul products are screened for safety, authenticity, and regulatory compliance. That is Amazon’s description of its process, not an independent product-quality audit or a guarantee that every item will meet an individual buyer’s expectations. Read the listing details and reviews carefully, particularly for items where materials, fit, compatibility, or safety matter.

Where is Amazon Haul available?
In its 2025 anniversary update, Amazon said Haul was available in 25 locations. It named Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and the UK among the markets using the Haul name. In Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, Amazon described the service under the Amazon Bazaar brand; it also said a standalone Bazaar app had launched in 14 additional destinations. Availability, app access, inventory, and checkout terms can vary, so look for Haul or Bazaar in the Amazon shopping experience for your country.
Country-specific launches illustrate why it is worth checking local terms. For instance, Amazon’s Canada announcement of November 14, 2025 described hundreds of thousands of products under C$25, most under C$10. The U.S. launch materials used dollar thresholds instead. Those figures describe separate markets and should not be treated as a direct price comparison.

Does Haul’s growth show that it is beating Temu or Shein?
No. Amazon’s anniversary update reports growth in Haul’s selection and customer visits, but does not provide a comparable independent measure of sales or market share against Temu or Shein. Historical app-download estimates do not settle the question either: TechCrunch reported Appfigures estimates of nearly 42 million Temu downloads and about 14.7 million Shein downloads among U.S. users aged 18–24 from January through October 2024. Those figures cover one demographic and period, predate Haul’s launch, and measure downloads rather than active users, sales, or market share.
The grounded conclusion is narrower: Amazon created a low-price storefront with a separate shopping flow and positioned it in the same competitive conversation as Temu and Shein. Whether it is cheaper for a particular basket or more attractive to a particular shopper depends on current local listings, delivery estimates, and return terms.
