Saucemoto’s Dip Clip is still listed for sale in the company’s official store, but Kevin O’Leary’s on-air Shark Tank deal reportedly never closed. The founders and O’Leary did not agree on terms after the show, according to later reporting.
What happened to Saucemoto on Shark Tank?
Saucemoto appeared on Shark Tank Season 10, Episode 22, which aired May 5, 2019, according to the episode listing. Founders pitched the Dip Clip, a holder designed to keep dipping sauce accessible in a car.
As recounted by SlashGear in 2024, the founders said they had sold 12,000 units and generated $75,000 in revenue by the time of their pitch. Those are historical pitch figures, not current sales or revenue. SlashGear’s account says they sought $45,000 for 15% equity.
Did Kevin O’Leary’s deal go through?
No. SlashGear reported that O’Leary offered $45,000 for 25%, and that the founders accepted on air. The agreement reportedly did not close after the parties failed to agree on the final terms. SlashGear attributed the explanation to co-founder Tony Lahood in a 2023 interview: “at the end of the day, we didn’t see eye to eye on some of the terms.” SlashGear’s report provides the account; this is not an independently checked interview transcript.

What is the Saucemoto Dip Clip?
