What happened to BTC Components?
FDH Aero’s archive announced the integration on June 4, 2024. FDH’s growth timeline dates the formal retirement of the BTC Electronics brand to April 2024, as the business was integrated into FDH Electronics. BTC had been FDH Aero’s sixth acquisition, completed in December 2019. FDH Aero’s announcement described the change as a move to a unified electronics division and support system.
In practical terms, BTC did not remain a separate brand within FDH’s electronics organization. The stated aim was to simplify aerospace and defense procurement and fulfillment through one electronics division with specialized teams serving military and commercial aerospace customers and supplier partners.
Who owns BTC Electronic Components now?
FDH Aero acquired BTC in 2019. Following the 2024 integration, FDH Electronics is the current organization to approach about the capabilities previously associated with BTC. This describes the brand and business integration; it does not establish whether any separate legal entity continues to exist.

What products and services did BTC provide?
BTC was described as a franchised and authorized distributor of high-performance connectors and interconnect products for aerospace, military, commercial and industrial markets. The documented product scope includes:
- Electrical connectors and backshells
- Interconnect accessories
- Cable assemblies and wire harnesses
FDH said BTC’s specialty connector offering complemented its existing electrical products and expanded FDH Electronics’ reach in electronic connectors. The integration therefore brought both distribution expertise and value-added assembly capabilities into the broader electronics division.

Paul Moseley, BTC’s former president, moved to the role of Executive Vice President, Value-Added Services at FDH Electronics. FDH Electronics President Mitch Enright said the unified structure was intended to enhance service, quality and supply-chain performance under one name and support system.
