You do not need to sign up again if you already had a Bing Rewards account; sign in with the same Microsoft account and check its Rewards dashboard. You can earn points through eligible Bing searches, quizzes and other activities, selected Microsoft Store purchases, and some Xbox games or quests. Points can be redeemed for rewards shown in your market, but they are not cash and the available offers vary.
What happened to Bing Rewards?
Microsoft says former Bing Rewards members transitioned automatically to Microsoft Rewards. The program is tied to a Microsoft account and has no fee or commitment, according to Microsoft’s Rewards overview. If you were already a member, use the Microsoft account you used before and look for Rewards opportunities in your account.

Microsoft’s current overview describes two levels. It lists up to 10 Bing searches per day for Level 1 and up to 30 for Level 2; these limits may depend on market and current terms, so use the dashboard as the practical guide for your account. Microsoft says earning 500 points in a month maintains Level 2. Benefits listed include more Bing points, savings on some Microsoft product or service redemptions, and exclusive offers. Check the dashboard for benefits that are actually available to you.
How to earn Microsoft Rewards points
Sign in to the Microsoft account enrolled in Rewards while using an eligible service, then check the Rewards dashboard for activities and limits available in your region. Microsoft lists these common routes, but not every activity is offered to every account:

- Bing searches: Eligible searches can earn points, subject to daily limits and market-specific rules. Microsoft does not establish a universal points-per-search amount.
- Daily activities: Quizzes, trivia, and other account activities may appear in the dashboard.
- Microsoft Store purchases: Some eligible purchases can earn points; check the applicable offer and terms before buying.
- Xbox activities: Selected games and quests may offer points, depending on availability and account eligibility.
Microsoft’s earning guidance and Rewards site describe eligible activities. Opportunities and limits can change, so the account dashboard is more reliable than assuming a particular task or rate is always available.
What can you redeem points for?
Microsoft documents reward categories including gift cards, games, apps, sweepstakes, and charitable donations. Those are examples, not guaranteed offers: catalogs and point prices depend on your market and account. Microsoft says Rewards points have no cash value. Its support page gives an approximate illustration of about 5,000 points for a reward worth $5, but that is not a guaranteed exchange rate or a promise that a particular $5 reward is available. Treat “free” as “redeemed using points earned through eligible activity,” not as cash or a fixed discount.

Microsoft may require verification when you redeem. Its redemption guidance says a mobile or landline number may be required and that VoIP numbers are not permitted. QR verification is available only in some circumstances and regions. Redeem in your account’s market and follow the instructions shown for your account.

Microsoft documents expiration after 12 months of inactivity. Its support pages describe the condition as no earning activity in one place and no earning or redeeming activity in another, so check the current terms attached to your account rather than relying on a narrower interpretation. Microsoft also says opting out forfeits available points.
Do not use VPNs, proxies, bots, macros, or multiple accounts to generate activity or evade limits. Microsoft warns that artificial activity can put accounts or points at risk. If an offer or redemption is unavailable, use the account’s displayed options and official verification process instead.
