Which Pokémon cards were at the center of the argument?
The product was the Pokémon 151 Blooming Waters Premium Collection, a physical Pokémon Trading Card Game collection. PokéBeach reported on January 16, 2025, that the collection was scheduled for a February 7 release but had started appearing at Costco stores about two weeks earlier. Costco later used the same product name and identified it as item #1916742 on its U.S. customer-service page. That listing confirms the name and item number; it does not establish current stock or a warehouse purchase limit. PokéBeach report · Costco return-exclusion page
What did the collection cost at the time?
PokéBeach’s January 16, 2025 report gave a retail price of $59.99 and said secondary-market listings were then in the $120–$150 range. Does Pokémon’s availability update mean the collection is back in stock?
No specific restock is established. Pokémon Support’s May 26, 2026 update said high demand was making some Pokémon TCG products difficult to find and that the company was working to print affected products quickly, with reprints expected to reach participating retailers as soon as possible. The notice addresses products generally; it does not confirm a reprint or current availability for Blooming Waters. Check the retailer directly for live inventory. Pokémon Support availability update
