Happiness Co Foundation and AIM WA held their inaugural International Women’s Day luncheon on 14 March 2025 at Optus Stadium in Perth. The four-hour event, themed “March Forward,” brought together about 500 guests and was intended to support the foundation’s programs for women and men.
Who organised the luncheon, and where was it held?
Happiness Co Foundation hosted the inaugural luncheon with AIM WA as its partner. The event took place in the River View Room at Optus Stadium on 14 March 2025. PerthNow’s event preview described a program featuring a three-course meal, premium beverages, a live panel Q&A, a keynote and live entertainment. PerthNow’s January 2025 preview outlined the planned format; its March post-event account reported that about 500 guests attended over four hours.
What was the event about?
The 2025 theme was “March Forward,” with the event framed around collective action and women’s empowerment. Happiness Co Foundation founder Julian Pace linked that goal to mental health, resilience and confidence, saying: “Our goal is to emphasise the power of collective action in driving real change for women’s empowerment. True equality can only be achieved when we foster the mental health, resilience, and confidence that empower women and men to challenge barriers together.”
Pace also described the luncheon as a way to turn purpose into progress and help build a future where everyone has the tools and opportunities to thrive. These are the founder’s stated aims, rather than measured outcomes reported after the event.

What were proceeds intended to support?
PerthNow reported that proceeds were intended to support self-improvement and mental-health programs for women, as well as workshops for men focused on positive behaviours, healthier relationships and community support networks. The report did not state how much was raised, provide an expenses breakdown or give an audited account of how funds were spent.
How did the 2025 luncheon differ from the 2026 edition?
The foundation’s current event page refers to a separate luncheon held on Friday 13 March 2026. It names AIM WA as the naming partner and gives that edition the theme “Balance the Scales.” The foundation says every 2026 ticket supports its frontline work, which it describes as including workshops and wellbeing programs, an education-led podcast, access to Happi and pathways to further support. Those 2026 descriptions should not be read as a funding breakdown for the 2025 event.
