KRAFTON is a South Korean game developer and publisher; Tencent is a China-based technology company with a broad portfolio that includes games. They are separate companies, and their shared presence in gaming does not by itself show that one owns or controls the other.

Its regulatory filing identifies PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS as one of its global intellectual properties and says it provides game services in more than 200 countries and territories. Tencent is a China-based internet and technology company founded in 1998 and headquartered in Shenzhen. Its business spans communication and social services, games and digital content, cloud computing, advertising, financial technology (FinTech), and enterprise services. One dated indicator of Tencent’s scale is its reported 1,418 million combined Weixin and WeChat monthly active user accounts as of December 31, 2025. Do not infer ownership or control just because both companies are connected to games or a PUBG-branded product.
