Ford lists the 2026 Mustang Dark Horse SC as its most expensive Mustang model, with a starting MSRP of $106,585. That is not a verified price for a fully loaded car or an out-the-door total: Ford’s published figure excludes options, destination and delivery, taxes, and fees, and the dealer determines the selling price. Ford’s current materials do not establish one definitive maximum-option total.
What is the most expensive 2026 Mustang?
Ford’s U.S. Build & Price page lists seven 2026 Mustang models, from the EcoBoost Fastback through the Dark Horse SC. The Dark Horse SC has the highest listed starting MSRP: $106,585, according to Ford’s page accessed October 5, 2026. Ford’s Mustang Build & Price page identifies it as the top-priced model in that lineup.
That number is the model’s starting MSRP, not the price of a Dark Horse SC with every available option. Ford’s 2026 Mustang overview describes the Dark Horse SC as a performance-focused car with a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 rated at up to 795 horsepower, a seven-speed TREMEC dual-clutch transmission, and a carbon-fiber driveshaft.
Why there is no confirmed fully loaded price here
A fully loaded price depends on which options are selected and how Ford prices that exact configuration. Ford’s 2026 order guide, dated March 27, 2026, lists equipment groups and options, but it does not establish a verified consumer total for a maximally optioned car. Without a reproducible current configuration, adding rumored or unverified option prices to the starting MSRP would create a figure Ford has not confirmed.

Ford also warns that product specifications, pricing, and equipment can change. Its configurator disclosure says: “Ford reserves the right to change product specifications, pricing and equipment at any time without incurring obligations.” Check a current Ford configuration and dealer quote for the specific build before making a purchase decision.
What the Track Pack adds
The available Track Pack is a major part of the Dark Horse SC’s performance proposition, rather than a cosmetic upgrade alone. Ford says it includes standard 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, along with a specific MagneRide calibration. The cited Ford materials do not provide a verified Track Pack price or a complete total for a Dark Horse SC equipped with it, so the $106,585 starting MSRP should not be treated as the Track Pack build price.

What Ford’s MSRP excludes
Ford’s current Mustang pricing disclosure lists a $1,995 destination and delivery charge that is excluded from the base MSRP. It also says the listed MSRP excludes optional equipment and other charges, including taxes, government and dealer fees, finance charges, and emissions testing fees. Ford states that the dealer determines the vehicle’s price. See Ford’s Mustang pricing disclosure for the terms.

- Configured price: The price shown for a particular set of options in Ford’s current configurator; it can change with the configuration and current pricing.
- Dealer price: The selling price quoted by a dealer, which Ford says the dealer determines.
- Out-the-door total: The transaction total after applicable delivery, taxes, registration, fees, and any dealer pricing. The exact amount depends on the buyer’s location and deal.
How to find the price for the car you want
- Open Ford’s current Mustang Build & Price page and select the Dark Horse SC.
- Add the equipment you want, including the Track Pack if available for the configuration, and note the displayed configured price.
- Ask a local dealer for a written quote for that exact configuration. Have the quote separate the vehicle price, destination and delivery, dealer charges, and any other required fees.
- Use your location and transaction details to calculate taxes, title, and registration; those costs cannot be specified without them.
Compare like with like: a starting MSRP is not directly comparable to a configured estimate, a dealer asking price, or an out-the-door figure. Confirm the configuration and pricing with Ford or a dealer close to purchase, since both pricing and specifications may change.
