Wendy’s announced a limited-time SpongeBob SquarePants menu in 2024: the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger and Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty. The planned U.S., Canadian and Guam launch date was October 8, 2024, and Paramount said the promotion would run through early November. Those dates are historical; the announcements do not establish that either item is available now.
When did Wendy’s SpongeBob menu launch?
Wendy’s announced the collaboration on October 2, 2024, as part of SpongeBob SquarePants’ 25th anniversary. Its release set October 8 as the planned launch date in the United States, Canada and Guam, including availability through the Wendy’s app. Wendy’s also announced an exclusive preview event in Panorama City, Los Angeles, on October 7 and 8. Paramount described the items as a limited-time offer through early November 2024. That wording does not give a precise final sell-through date or indicate current availability. A later Paramount Advertising retrospective said the campaign spanned more than 6,700 locations across 12 markets, including the U.S., Canada and select international regions; that broader campaign figure should not be read as proof the menu was sold at every location or in every market. What was in the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger?
Wendy’s described its real-world Krabby Patty as a quarter-pound patty of fresh, never frozen beef, topped with two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and a “top-secret” Krabby Kollab sauce, served on a toasted premium bun. The announcement did not disclose the sauce recipe. It describes Wendy’s interpretation of the fictional burger, not confirmation that the restaurant item matched a recipe from the show.
