Parade reported on June 29 that customers could get a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for $0.01 on June 30, 2026, with a purchase of $5 or more and redemption in the Wendy’s app. The offer was tied to that date, so it is no longer valid.
The sandwich was described as having fresh beef, applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and Heinz mayonnaise. Parade gave an approximate regular price of $2.89, while noting that menu prices vary by location; that figure was not a guaranteed nationwide price. Parade’s June 29 report.
Was there another Wendy’s deal later?
A September 18, 2026 roundup from AOL, republishing New York Post reporting, described a different promotion: a free Baconator with an eligible $20 Grubhub purchase. It referred to a 1-cent Bacon Cheeseburger as an offer from the previous year. The roundup does not confirm that the Baconator promotion remained available on October 4. AOL’s September 18 roundup.

How to check for an offer you can use
Promotions can have limited dates, qualifying-spend rules and location restrictions. Before placing an order, check the offers shown in the Wendy’s app and confirm the dates, required purchase, redemption method and participation terms for your restaurant. A deal reported for an earlier date—or listed in a roundup published weeks ago—does not establish that it is available now.
