Wayfair’s spring 2026 promotion was Way Day, not a verified “Epic Spring Sale.” Wayfair announced the event for April 25–27 and advertised discounts of up to 80%—not the 87% figure in the supplied headline. The event has ended, so those dates and discounts are historical, not a current offer.
What Wayfair announced for spring 2026
In its April 16 announcement, Wayfair named the promotion Way Day and set the public sale for April 25–27, 2026. The company advertised “up to 80% off furniture, home decor and more, with new deals dropping every 24 hours.” That is Wayfair’s advertised maximum, not a typical saving or a guarantee that every item received that discount. Wayfair’s announcement also said lead-in daily deals would begin April 20.
USA TODAY reported that Wayfair Rewards members could get early access beginning April 23. Its coverage also described the sale as including furniture, rugs, outdoor items and home decor. USA TODAY’s April 16 report corroborates those dates and the broad categories; it does not substantiate an 87% discount.
Does the evidence support “up to 87% off”?
No. The available official spring-sale announcement supports an advertised ceiling of up to 80%. The cited coverage does not establish that Wayfair used the name “Epic Spring Sale,” advertised 87% off, or offered that discount on specific products. Treat the 87% headline claim as unverified rather than as a confirmed saving.

A separate Wayfair promotion should not be confused with the spring event: Tom’s Guide covered an Epic Fall Sale in September 2026, advertised up to 80% off, and reported that it ended September 21. That fall report does not verify the spring headline or establish offers available now. Tom’s Guide’s fall-sale report concerns that separate, expired promotion.
How to judge a Wayfair discount
An “up to” percentage is a ceiling, not evidence that a particular purchase is a bargain. Before buying, compare the exact item’s current total price and terms rather than relying on the event’s largest advertised discount.

No. The announced Way Day ran April 25–27, 2026, and is over as of October 4, 2026. A September article about the Epic Fall Sale is also historical; it reported that the promotion ended September 21. These past promotions do not confirm any current Wayfair offer. Check Wayfair’s current listings and the item’s checkout terms for prices and availability before making a purchase.
