Walmart’s early Black Friday deal on the Garmin epix Pro (Gen 2) was reported at $619.99, or $380 below a stated $999.99 regular price. That offer was reported by Android Central on November 6, 2025; it is a historical price, not confirmation that Walmart still has the watch at that price or in stock.
What Walmart’s $380-off deal covered
The matching Android Central deal story identified the watch as the Garmin epix Pro (Gen 2) and reported a Walmart price of $619.99 against a stated regular price of $999.99. The report described the discount as $380. It does not conclusively establish every detail of the product listing, such as the exact case size, finish, or edition, and it does not verify a current offer. Android Central’s November 6, 2025 deal report is the source for those historical price details.

What the epix Pro (Gen 2) offers
Android Central described the epix Pro (Gen 2) as a premium training and fitness smartwatch, with an always-on AMOLED display, GNSS satellite tracking, sports and activity profiles, HRV status, Pulse Ox, sleep tracking, training readiness, morning reports, topographical maps, and a built-in LED flashlight. Those are the deal article’s feature descriptions, not independent performance-test results. The story also identified bulk and the lack of solar charging as potential drawbacks.

Battery life depends on case size and display setting
Garmin’s owner’s manual gives maximum smartwatch-mode estimates for three Pro case sizes. The figures below compare wrist gesture with the always-on display setting; they are manufacturer estimates, not guaranteed battery life.
| Case size | Wrist gesture | Always-on display |
|---|---|---|
| 42 mm | Up to 10 days | Up to 4 days |
| 47 mm | Up to 16 days | Up to 6 days |
| 51 mm | Up to 31 days | Up to 11 days |
These are Garmin’s maximum estimates in smartwatch mode. Garmin says actual battery life depends on enabled features, including wrist-based heart rate, smartphone notifications, GPS, internal sensors, and connected sensors. Water rating and practical fit
Garmin lists a 10 ATM water rating for the watch. Its manual explains that this means pressure equivalent to a depth of 100 meters; the rating should not be read as proof that the watch is suitable for every type of diving. Garmin’s specifications and manual provide the rating details.
Case size also matters for both fit and battery expectations: Garmin lists distinct 42 mm, 47 mm, and 51 mm Pro models, with different maximum estimates. If you are considering the deal, confirm that the listing’s size and finish match what you want rather than relying on the headline alone.

Who should consider this watch—and who may not
The feature set described in the deal report is aimed at buyers seeking advanced training and sports tools, health and sleep monitoring, mapping, and satellite tracking. The deal story’s cautions are relevant too: shoppers who prioritize a slimmer or smaller-feeling watch, or who specifically want solar charging, may prefer a different model. No current comparison price or live Walmart availability is established here, so the historical discount alone cannot show whether this is the best value today.
