A ticket sold at Nollamara IGA in Western Australia won the only Division One prize in the Millionaire Medley draw held Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Lotterywest announced the result on March 13; its release did not identify the winner or say whether the prize had been claimed.
What happened in the March 12 Millionaire Medley draw?
Lotterywest’s March 13, 2025 announcement said the previous night’s draw produced the only Division One winning ticket across Australia. The winning ticket was sold at Nollamara IGA in Western Australia. The date of the draw is therefore Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Lotterywest’s announcement quoted spokesperson James Mooney: “The wait is on to hear from Western Australia’s latest millionaire, thanks to last night’s Millionaire Medley draw.”
Who won, and has the prize been claimed?
The official announcement does not name the ticket holder, confirm whether the prize has been claimed, or provide details about the winner’s plans. It identifies Nollamara IGA as the place where the ticket was sold, not the person who purchased it.
How Millionaire Medley works
Lotterywest describes Millionaire Medley as a game drawn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Eight numbers are drawn from a barrel of 45: the first six are winning numbers and the last two are supplementary numbers. Its Division One prize is $1 million for up to six winners; if more than six Division One winners occur, Lotterywest’s published prize structure switches to a shared pool. See Lotterywest’s Millionaire Medley page for the current rules and prize structure.
