What happened in Powerball draw #1539?
PerthNow reported on 13 November 2025 that one WA ticket won the full $50 million Division One jackpot. The winning numbers were 22, 10, 6, 15, 2, 8 and 7, with Powerball 13. PerthNow’s report described it as a win by a West Australian ticket. Lotterywest’s later 24 November 2025 release identified the jackpot winners as a Mandurah couple.
How the other WA prize tiers compared
The jackpot was not the only substantial WA result reported from the draw. PerthNow said another WA player matched all seven main numbers but not the Powerball, winning $160,671.15 in Division Two. Twelve WA Division Three winners were reported to receive $12,820.95 each.

What is known about the winners?
Lotterywest’s 24 November release says a Mandurah couple took out the month’s entire $50 million Powerball prize. The release does not name them. The available reports also do not establish where the ticket was bought, what type of entry it was, whether it was registered, or what the couple intends to do with the money. Those details should not be inferred from the result.
Why the Powerball mattered
Lotterywest’s 17 September 2019 backgrounder explains that Division One requires matching seven winning numbers plus the Powerball. In draw #1539, the Division Two player matched all seven main numbers but missed the separate Powerball, while the winning ticket secured Division One. The rule description is from 2019 and is included as historical game context, not as a complete statement of current ticket terms. Lotterywest’s backgrounder also published odds estimates for particular entry types in 2019; those dated estimates are not presented here as current odds.

How the win fits WA’s recent Powerball history
Lotterywest Acting CEO Lorna Pritchard described the November 2025 result as WA’s largest Division One win in more than three years. In PerthNow’s report, she compared it with a $53 million Powerball prize shared by 18 workmates in October 2022. She also called the November win WA’s fourth Powerball win of 2025. These are statements attributed to Pritchard in PerthNow’s coverage, rather than a separately reconstructed lottery history.
